I counted 50 eagles on those rocks without even trying. Numbers are easily over 100 already. (ps. dang it the video has "11/18/2009" as left text instead of what it actually was which is 10/18/2009, dang it! I need a proof-reader)

Probably my favorite photo from the Conowingo Dam, along the Susquehanna River. I've posted this before, but as a much tighter crop.

A change of pace from my usual tight crops...

This was my first trip to Blackwater, and it was excellent. I highly recommend checking out the areas besides the "Wildlife Drive"... By volume I saw many more eagles while venturing around the area. I went past the main enterance and crossed the bridge and then took a right at the "T"... If you're familiar with that area, this is from roughly halfway between the two bridges.

Yesterday was the first time I'd ever seen eagles lock talons! It only last a few seconds, a couple of rotations, and I got no photos, but it was awesome.

The theory was a big younger female was tired of this adult male, and took him for a spin. He landed and looked a bit shook up~
