The formal name of the Japanese Garden is 'Sansho-en' (Garden of Three Islands). This photo was taken from Keiunto, the first, largest and highest of Sanshoen’s three islands.

This pine cone was on top of the ice just off the Zigzag Bridge between Keiunto (Island of the Auspicious Cloud) and Seifuto (Island of Clear, Pure Breezes).

The formal name of the Japanese Garden is 'Sansho-en' (Garden of Three Islands). Keiunto is the first, largest and highest of Sanshoen’s three islands and serves as the focal point of the garden. To left of center is the Shoin House and to the lower right is the Zigzag Bridge which leads to Seifuto (Island of Clear, Pure Breezes).

This panorama was stitched from 12 full-frame, portrait images taken every 5 degrees over a time span of 64 seconds.
