Close to the one of the oldest hotels in Southport big mass of black suited men were gathering. They were chatting and hugging each other. The event was really noticeable - surrounding people were watching it. It was Royal Black Institution festive gathering and in the crowd I met Ray.

Ray is the member of this religious organization, besides, he is the one of the elder members and was feeling embarrassed by one of his guilty pleasures, though cigar was still smoldering in his mouth.

Jadvyga's life is honoured by few works that she was doing all her life. And both of them are significant. In local parish she helps for already her third priest. Next to the church there is a museum of a priest, folklorist and poet Antanas Valentinas and she is taking care of it as well. And there is no other day that you couldn't see her cleaning the abandoned graves, or sweeping the porch of the museum. That's her biggest happiness.

"You need to see the Cathedral here. It's Marvellous!" avid church goes Mr Todd mentioned to me in the start of our conversation. He just came back from it for a stroll in the boulevard. And that's how it is every Sunday.

Mr Todd is 79 years now and big part of his life he was living in Rochester, the city that he truly loves . Though all his life was spent all around the globe. He lived in Japan, parts of Scandinavia, Africa and as he remembers dozens of other destinations. He was an army man, so that lifestyle was part of his duty.

"Besides I was born in Egypt" Mr Todd added "How's that for adventure?" he said to me while shaking hands and saying good bye.
