Just type 'L' for the High Definition view!

The Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) is a huge development in Dubai, which consists of 79 towers being constructed along the edges of four artificial lakes.

This is a conventional panorama, made of 3 shots in portrait with my Tokina @11mm. Each portrait shot is a digital blending of 4 exposures. Hence a total of 12 exposures used for this panorama.

Type 'L' for the Large View

A new development near my office, each building has between 50 to over 100 floors. Most of them are still under construction.

This is a tone-mapped HDR using Oloneo Photo Engine. I guess I was lazy to blend it manually :)

An easy classic 'no-brainer' angle you might say, but I still like it :)

'L' for the best view in LARGE

Yesterday night, perfect temperatures (25 C), some moving clouds, almost full moon, those were the perfect conditions to go out and shoot!

Thanks to my wireless remote, I was able to include myself in the shot. I am usually not a big fan of distorted buildings, but here it was impossible to correct the distortion and straighten up the buildings.

I guess I am in a B&W mood now, so expect a few more B&W shots to show up on my stream :)

Made of a composite of 5 shots at different exposures, then used Photoshop CS2 to generate the HDR, then Local Adaptation to adjust the HDR effect.
