I saw Trigg riding his unicycle in the park when I stopped him and described the 100 Strangers project and asked to take his photo. Trigg was more than happy to have his picture taken so he got on his unicycle and allowed me to take several shots. I asked Trigg if he performs anywhere and he stated he’s actually a magic entertainer for private and corporate events. We exchanged business cards and I’ll send him a copy of the pictures: www.TRIGGmagic.com.

I saw Evelyn eating lunch in the park but didn't approach her at first. I actually took a portrait of Tony and Ellis (#34 and #35) near to where Evelyn was sitting. I took a seat on a near by bench and noticed Evelyn looked like she was finished eating. I was drawn to take her photo because she's an absolute beauty. I approached her and described the 100 Strangers project and she agreed to have her photo taken. Evelyn is from San Diego, CA and is considering moving to Dallas. Thanks Evelyn.

I was back at Klyde Warren Park looking for an opportunity to take a stranger portrait. I was hoping to photography a couple on this Valentine’s Day. I was sitting waiting for a chance to approach someone when Tony asked me to take a picture of him and his wife Ellis with is Point Shoot. I gladly took a few shots for them. Tony saw my DSLR and said, I figured you know how to take a photo when I saw your camera...lol. We chatted for a moment, Tony and Ellis are from Arlington, TX and were out enjoying this Valentine’s Day. I told them why I was at the park and before I could ask, the said, "You want to take our photo!" I said yes, they allowed me to take a few shots. It was great meeting such a nice couple. Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

When I was on my way home I stopped by Chilis to pick up a to go order. Nicole was working at the bar when I noticed the purple streak in her hair. I described the 100 strangers project and even though she was working, I asked if I could take her portrait for the 100 strangers project. She said yes. Nicole is a Art major at a local university. Logan was taking his dog for a walk when I asked to take his photo for the project. He had passed by me a few times. He kindly agreed and after taking a few shots he continued walking his dog.

I saw Tricia playing ping-pong with Julie (#31). While I was standing there watching them play ping-pong on windy day, Tricia asked me if I’ve played ping-pong in the wind. Obviously it’s very challenging. I asked if I could take their portrait for the 100 strangers project and they agreed. This is the second time I’ve tried to shoot two people playing ping pong and it just doesn’t work. When the wind carried the ball, which was often, I would ask them to look toward me while I took their portrait. I’m learning that I prefer to have people look directly into the camera.

I saw Tenielle walking toward me when I asked to take her portrait for the 100 Strangers project. She was hesitant but finally said ok. Sounds like she had a slight British accent which I always find charming. Tennille works for Crazy Fish a sushi food truck (crazyfishusa.com). I told her there was a sushi food truck at my job a few months ago. I told her where I worked and she said that was her. It is a small world after all.

I found quite few opportunities near the food trucks today. People standing around waiting for their orders. Kevin was hanging out with his girlfriend who as at a different food truck when I asked if I could take his photo for the 100 Strangers project. He kindly agreed. Kevin was just hanging out around the downtown area.

Maya was waiting for her order by the food trucks during lunch hour when I approached her regarding the 100 Stranger’s project. She kindly agreed to the photo. She took her shades off and started to put them away when I told her I like the shades, so she put them back on. She was enjoying her day at the park. Her order was ready so she went to go eat her lunch.

I saw Sara jogging around the park and when she came back to the where I was she sat down and was listening to her iPod. I walked over to introduced myself and described the 100 stranger’s project and if it was ok to take her photo. She agreed. She put the ear buds back her ear so I assumed she didn't want to talk. I forgot what I said to make her laugh, but I was able to catch her laughing in this shot.

This is Brittney, I saw her with her dog at the park. She looked like she was waiting for someone. I saw her earlier and decided to take a chance. I explained the 100 Strangers project and she said yes to the portrait. She even asked if I could get a shot with her dog, which I ddid. She was very nice. Thanks Brittney.

I saw Caroline with her friend Heather (#24) having a picnic at the park. I was hesitant to interrupt them, so I waited for a few minutes and approached them. I described the 100 Strangers project and they kindly agreed. They asked where I wanted so I told them to just keep talking and I’ll take a few candid shots. Caroline was describing some drink she wanted to create and Caroline just started laughing when I caught this shot. I really enjoy catching an authentic laugh versus a fake smile. Thanks Caroline.

I saw April playing ping pong with her friend Kirby (#22). I approached them both and described the 100 strangers project and if it was to take a few shots while the played, they agreed. During a break in the action I took this close up of April. I like this image the most. I wasn’t keeping score, but it looked like Kirby was winning, lol. Thanks April
