I am pretty certain that this is Manduca Quinquemaculatus, or Five Spotted Hawk Moth.
But, it may be Manduca Sexta, the Carolina Sphinx Moth.
Either way, spotted in Clinton, Mississippi.
Shot with my iPhone 4S and edited in Snapseed.

I'll have some examples up in the next day or so. I really like this lens. I also have the 50mm f/1.8 lens and love it. But I can get just a hair closer with this one.
