We(ME & Bio Hazard) took a short walk through this deep forest side way from main car safari road.This was slightly dangerous to walk through these forests as it contains wild elephant,bison & leopard & strictly prohibited for tourists to walk away apart from car...But we went for it & it was an amazing experience!

Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary is a protect park situated at the foothills of Eastern Himalayas in Alipurduar Sub-Division of Jalpaiguri District in West Bengal and on the bank of river Torsa and have an area of 141 km² and altitude of 61 m. Jaldapara, the vast grassland with patches of riverine forests was declared a sanctuary in 1941 for protection of the great variety flora and fauna, particularly one-horned rhinos, an animal threatened with extinction.

The Chilapata Forest is a dense forest near Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary in Dooars, Jalpaiguri District. It is about 20 km from Alipurduar, and just a few minutes away from Hasimara town. Until recently, the area was known for dacoity, but it is now safe for tourists.

The meaning of Rishap is mountain peak and tree.Rishap is situated very closely with Lava. It is a tourist village by which you can see the clear view of Himalaya.the biggest attraction of Rishap is the breathtaking view of Kanchanjunga and various mountain peak of India and Nepal.By standing in Rishap you can see the Nathula's some part.

This was taken from our Hotel(Hotel Swami) Room at early morning.This is our very first day at Darjeeling and this is the first time i was watching Kanchanjunga just wake up from sleep...I was just stunned by its beauty!!! It was an amazing experience which can't be explain at words and i believe no photograph can give you that feelings.
