Hanger Lane is on the Central Line and the train on the left is heading to central London whilst the train on the left is heading for West Ruislip. The empty tracks on the left are for train services into London Paddington.

16 April 2013. Mornington Crescent Station on London Underground's Northern Line. The station was opened as part of the original route of the Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead Railway (now the Charing Cross branch of the Northern Line) on 22 June 1907. Prior to the station's opening, the name of "Seymour Street" had been proposed. After opening, it was little used, and for many years it was open only on weekdays. On 23 October 1992 the station was shut so that the then 85-year-old lifts could be replaced. The intention was to open it within one year but the state of neglect meant other work had to be completed, and the station was closed for most of the 1990s, amidst talk of it closing permanently. However, the station was reopened on 27 April 1998 and since then has been open at the same times as most other stations, including weekends, in an attempt to relieve the pressure on the increasingly busy nearby Camden Town station.

9 April 2013. North Acton tube station on the Central Line of London's Underground. There was serious disruption and delay during this evening's rush hour caused by a suicide further up the line. Underground management and train drivers use several phrases to refer to suicides, such as "person under a train", "person on a track", "passenger action", and "one under". There are around 6 such fatalities on the Central Line every year. In this view we are looking east towards central London. The empty platform on the far left is east-bound and the platform on the right with the train and passengers is west-bound. The train on the left has just terminated and will eventually head back to central London. In the distance a west-bound train is waiting to pull in to the station but will have to wait a few minutes until a platform becomes free.

17 March 2013. The escalator at Clapham South tube station, Clapham, London, England, UK. The station serves London Underground's Northern Line. It was designed by Charles Holden and opened on 13 September 1926 as the first station of the Morden extension of the City & South London Railway, which is now part of the Northern Line. It is one of eight London Underground stations with a deep-level air-raid shelter underneath it.

5 March 2013. Hanger Lane tube station and gyratory, Ealing, London, England, UK. The station is on the West Ruislip branch of the Central Line and opened on 30 June 1947. The gyratory is a large, complex roundabout system at the intersection of the Western Avenue (A40) and the North Circular (A406). It covers an area of about 30,000 square metres and at rush hour carries nearly 10,000 vehicles per hour. In December 2007 it was named Britain's scariest junction.

27 February 2013. Liverpool Street Railway Station. London, England, UK. Liverpool Street is a central London railway terminus and a connected London Underground station in the north-eastern corner of the City of London. Opened in 1874, it is the terminus of two main lines: the Great Eastern Main Line to Norwich, and the West Anglia Main Line to Cambridge. There are also many local commuter services to parts of east London, Essex and Hertfordshire. In addition, it is the terminus of the Stansted Express, a fast link to Stansted airport.

The Underground station connects the Central, Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith & City lines on the London Underground network
