there's a lot I'd subsidence in this cemetery, I'm not sure there's a lot they can do about it without spending a lot of money...

some of the grave stones have completely toppled over, some like this being guinea graves won't have a family to maintain it, the rest are so old that there are unlikely to be any family still visiting.

a bit sad, if quirky.

not the prettiest of settings! was just driving out of the aldi car park when I spotted this. sadly, the chap in the car behind me didn't seem to appreciate my need to get a decent composition...how roooood!

is this the worlds widest rainbow or what? so pretty but would prefer not to see it and simultaneously not walk through ice cold drizzle admittedly...

this is one rare area where mr c and i don't concur. he loves paella, and especially loves all things seafood. i'd rather eat dogfood.

sadly for my stepmum, my dad and i are in agreement here. and she's with mr c. so when we're out together, both mr c and stepmum get to indulge :D

be honest. i have the receipt and 28 days to take it back, so absolutely no skin off my nose.

off on holiday tomorrow, so wanted a summery dress but not 100% sure. not sure if its cool and funky or just dumpy and mumsy! i find it hard to pull off dresses with short hair, so it usually has to be something quite dramatic, rather than girly...

bit of a vague snapshot so no third party info is on here...

I've been battling with work for some time, as while they offer a very generous, enhanced maternity leave pay package, adoption leave is statutory only.

I finally got some support from a senior member of staff who has been amazing, so understanding and fair.

and to cut a long story short, the policy has now been changed so its equal for both :-)

really struggling with the scavenger hunt this month, especially picnic. it's hardly been picnic weather, sadly!

so lilly has decided to eat al fresco, and this is her pignic hamper, aka the compost caddy. all those banana skins, apple cores, egg shells and furry tomatoes, nom nom nom. right up this little piggy's street!

as if this subway isn't grim and intimidating enough. the thing on the wall (in the sunshiny bit) is a mirror to allow you to see before you go in. only someone has smashed it up...

(And this isn't even my time, this was the time after I staggered over the finish line, them wobbled towards this saying 'is that a clock? Is that time under an hour?!' My chip time was 58:01 and gun time 58.39 :-D)

I thought it was achievable, but not today. I ran 9k in 56 mins on Friday so was expecting to do it in about 1:02 or 03.

This is described as a flat course and good for beginners and PBs. But this is a Yorkshire version of flat, so there were some hills! Luckily running parkrun has prepared me for them :-)

Mr C did it in 1:07 but he has had manflu and not run in about two weeks, so proud of him too :-)
