This attractive work at the Bursledon Brickworks Museum, is made with miniature bricks, stamped with the word 'History' and tile pieces.

This photostream is not short of photographs of Ruston locomotive 'Alistair' at Bursledon Brickworks but I think this view provides a nice illustration of the grounds in which the train runs.

Followers of my photostream (each of whom I value) will expect to see trains, buses, aeroplanes, Chinese restaurants, buildings and many other established subjects but probably not a wooden badger. So here is....a wooden badger. It is one of two in the childrens' playground at Bursledon Brickworks. When NATS obtained permission to build an air traffic control centre on the Brickworks site (across the M27 from the museum site of the present day) it undertook to put in place measures to avoid the displacement of the then badger population. It did so but I believe the badgers left anyway.

With 6408 examples built over a 10 year period [1966-76], the Jensen Interceptor was never a common sight and is certainly infrequently seen these days. This example was at Bursledon Brickworks for their May open day.

I don't spend a lot of time peering under the bonnets of cars but the condition of the engine compartment of this Wolseley Six, KNJ82L, was worth a look at Bursledon Brickworks during their May open day.

Type 45 destroyer D34 HMS Diamond left Portsmouth at about 1310 [1210UTC] a little ahead of the movement of Ark Royal.

The light was fairly tricky and, in a poor photograph, I have highlighted the downside of trying to include a landmark in the picture.

The Defence Police launch Sir Humphrey Gale in Portsmouth Harbour. It had accompanied the departure of HMS Diamond and returned for Ark Royal.
