Dopo stelle e meteore in cielo, i caldi colori del primo albeggiare, e la nitidezza del primo raggio di Sole ecco sorgere "stelle" nelle acque del Trabocco di Punta Mucchiola al sorgere del sole.

Trabocco di Punta Mucchiola, tra San Vito Chietino e Ortona in provincia di Chieti (Abruzzo). Questo splendido trabocco e' purtroppo in stato di completo abbandono. Non so se e' gia' in progetto un recupero visto che il trabocco viene considerato regionalmente come un "bene culturale primario" e diverse leggi sono state varate per la concessione di finanziamenti per il loro recupero.

Ho scattato questa foto quasi all'alba il 12 Agosto 2011 giorno prima del massimo dello sciame delle Perseidi (comunemente chiamate Lacrime di San Lorenzo). Sono riuscito a beccare almeno una stellina cadente :-) che a causa della sensibilita' ISO 640 non eccessivamente alta (ho avuto ragioni per non impostarla troppo alta), sembra piu' debole di quanto non lo fosse in realta'.

This is the Trabocco of Punta Mucchiola, which is located in between of San Vito Chietino and Ortona, Abruzzo (Chieti province), Italy. The Trabocchi are small buildings, made by poles and ropes, typical of the Abruzzo's south coast used by our progenitors as fishing devices. Unfortunately this one is completely falling apart. Trabocchi are considered as primary cultural heritage of Abruzzo and they are protected under several regional laws. I don't know if for this one a recovery is already planned.

I shot this photo the day before (12 August 2011) the maximum of the Perseid meteor shower. I was lucky and got a little shooting star at almost dawn. The meteor was brighter than it looks. This is due to the fact that I had to use a not so high ISO 640 sensitivity for this shot.
