Hi Everyone! I'm back from my holiday on the green island of La Palma :-) We've had a wonderful time there. It's a very beautiful and peaceful place, without big crowds of tourists.

This picture was taken from the Swedish Solar Telescope tower, which we were very lucky to be able to visit, thanks to a friend who works there. Normally the obervatories are open maybe once a year to the public.

Hope everyone is well, and I'm going to catch up with you soon.

As I mentioned before, there were many cats living around our hotel on La Palma. They were all very well taken care of :-)

We stayed at a beautiful hotel at La Palma which had a gorgeous botanic garden with parrots, other kinds of birds and a lot of cats (yay!). This beautiful parrot had it's place close to the swimming pool.

San Andres is situated in the North of the island of La Palma.

I will probably not be able to be much online the coming week. My sister and her husband will be staying with us for a week. I will catch up with you as soon as I can. :-)

This was the view from our balcony :-) We were very lucky to have the beach just 100 m walking from our room. The sand on La Palma is black, because it's of a vulcanic origin.
