I met this guy and his girlfriend at a wedding I attended in LA. We stepped out for a smoke afterwards and had quite a long talk, about California, Chicago, families. He seemed to be very cool, and I enjoyed meeting him. I had taken a shot of his girlfriend earlier - she said then he didn't like to have his photo taken - and given them my card. When she got in touch with me after the wedding, I mentioned this shot, because I had forgotten his name. She told me that he's adamant about not having his pic on the web. I was sure I told him about the project, so I asked her to ask him, but if he didn't want it posted I'd understand. The next time I talked to her, he was an ex-boyfriend, and she said she didn't care if I posted the shot with a few "choice" words printed underneath; I think it's one of my better ones, it would be a shame not to use it, plus the story makes this a solid #44...
