The Rouge Players asked to see my home town...... Here she is....

For TRP: Your Home Town

Me and The Kid headed out after she got off work, oh yeah, The kid is employed. WOOHOO!!! Anywho, we headed out to downtown to take some night shots. I am impatient and couldn't wait for complete darkness, plus The Kid was getting restless from her long 4 hour work day, she works to hard.. For real that is what she said. She is sooo cute...

I wanted to take a shot in a slightly different location but there was way to many poeple staring at me and my tripod..... ahahaha

On another note, there there was a 10 minute story in the Today Show about America Cankle crisis. Ya know ladies with fat ankles. I swear, I couldnt make that kind of stuff up......a crisis....must be a slow news day...

The kid is quite enjoying lying face down V2. She enlisted a couple of buddies to play along.....

For TOTW Lying face down V2
And for FGR : It's an Addiction

I am triopd-less. I got one for my birthday and it is scheduled to be delivered Wednesday. Soooo cloning shots with out a tripod are freaking difficult. Might I add clone shots on a semi-cloudy day suck ass too. But it all worked out. The kid was at the beach with some friends so I met her up there and she helped out with todays shot. She wanted to jump again like yesterday, but she actually listened and layed face down in the sand. What a good kid!

Here is me by my favorite bridge......

This is the From Roche de Bouef bridge in Waterville, Ohio. I love to go to this bridge and just hang out and relax. Me and my cousin Ronnie went there today. In the summer time the river gets super low and you can walk across it. I have stood on that giant rock in the middle of the bridge.

Photoshopping out 5 telephone lines is time consuming......

I think I am like Superman, not in the shoot fire out of my eyes sense (although that would be freaking sweet), but I think I get my powers from the sun. It was sunny today and a scorching 45 degrees, and I loved it. I was driving to Waterville and there were these beautiful sunbeams poking out of the clouds. It was sooooo pretty, I had to bust out the ole camera and try to capture the moment. You would be surprised how difficult it is to capture those beams. This was the best shot. Also, I am not sure why the tiny city of Waterville has so many freaking wires on its telephone poles, but if they could cut it down to one or two for the sake of photography, please.....

SNOW DAY!!!!!!

Today I think everything in my town was closed due to the newest onslaught of weather. So, of course, the kid is rip roaring and ready to take full advantage of the free day.

So after an hour of freaking shoveling the freaking cars out, me and her were out on our snow day adventure. It appeared that we were the only idiots out and about besides every truck with a plow on it. We did a little shopping and stopped at the Burger King for some lunch. Acutally the roads were not nearly as bad as I thought they were going to be, getting out my own driveway proved to be the toughest part of the day, I almost made it in the ditch on several nailbiting occasions...

Tripod for the day..... Burger King railing...

Burger King railing...

lutman123 posted a photo:

Madison and Shannon do their best Charlies Angel's pose on top of a mountain of snow at the Woodville Mall, Shannon nearly breaks neck HA! .....

It seems as the days pass by, doing this 365 seems to just become part of my day to day routine. I would consider myself shy, I like to be the fly on the wall, although that is tough when you are toting a camera every where, waiting for the 1 picture that represents your day....

So I was on my way to drop the kid off at the mall to see a movie with her friend, and there sits this gigantic pile of snow just begging to be climbed, so being the rational mature parent that I am, I throw the car in park, and dare the kid to climb to the top. We both made it, and had to document it for the 365. Getting up the pile was easy, but running down the snow/ ice covered pile was more of a challenge, I got some speed going on the way down and had a hard time stopping. I am sure this was entertaining to the 3 or 4 people that were staring and us wondering what in the heck was wrong with us.....

Traffic jam.........

It seems like in these parts when it snows, people tend to crash. With that said, me and these ladies loaded up and headed out to drop them off at the mall. On our way we were stopped in our tracks on I75. When I say stopped, I literally mean stopped, it took us 45 minutes to move like 25 feet. It was rather annoying. So to occupy our time we took several shots for my photo of the day. This one made me laugh. Those kid were getting a little stir crazy, and to be honest, I was loosing my mind a little too. I have the attention span of a 5 year old sometimes. Plus it never fails, when you are stuck in traffic, you automatically have to pee, and are staving. I had a reeces peanut butter cup in the bottom of my purse, and smartie's in the trunk to tide me over.

So we fought our way outta traffic, got off the expressway took a long detour to drop these two off, and I headed to my cousins. We worked on his snow blower. Well, shall I say HE worked on his snowblower, I got all bundled up and sat in a chair and watched, it was too cold for me to participate. I am ready for July. My flip flops miss me, big time.

Tri-pod used this time, a Harry Potter book.
