Trying myself out a bit more on photoshop after quite a few years of inactivity, and for some of my first retouching... basically i suck big time and feel like it's just what it looks like... a man and a hoover in a room. Now please bare with my retouching mistakes and don't blow me too hard on them... i'm being critical enough by myself on this one.

A few decades after the manic street preachers, here comes the swiss group of the Maniac Street Sweepers... with a Dyson microphone hoover system and a furry mic, it's in style that streets are cleaned.

Switzerland as you have never seen it before, simply different and just as we love it. Cleaners in suits and pink gloves, sexy hey :D nahhh come on it's just too much ... no way...

Day 44/365 - mountain playground

After a whole 2 days getting my daughter back for the holidays, going up to the mountain, getting everything organized for her to go to ski school and soforth, came the moment of the 365.

I realize that without my Manfrotto Camera tripod and with only 1 light stand to work and do everything, it makes it pretty complicated, so i'll have to consider the needs pretty soon.

Going along the village i liked the idea of being back on the playground where i had done a few Xmas snowmen and playing around.

I have a 17-70 Sigma which allowed the wide angle, but i find it weak at the best of days,

Let's see tomorrow, heading up again on the slopes, first day skiing after 1 and a bit years of non skiing due to a broken knee and ligaments last year. a bit concerned but might make my 365 up there to celebrate that day :).

It was on august 1st that the creation of the helvetic confederation, also knows as switzerland, was ratified.

First ski day after my broken knee last year, 2nd ski lessons for my daughter, was a good challenging day for both of us finally and we overcame it with i would say some kind of brio.

Resume of the slopes, what was done, achievements, sucess and congratulations to Sam my little one for her accomplishments today... very proud of her and she can be proud of what she did too. Keep it up you'll go far...

Thanks for following, and sorry missed the deadline for 30mn, sucked at it this time... so pissed off with myself for being so damn incapable to deliver on time... not that many might care, but i do... and it really screws me round the wrong way.

It takes a lot to learn something we like, reading, practicing, SEA (Shoot, Examine, Analyze) and then maybe start again until we get a result.

Photography is an Art with a big A, and like many others on flickr, i'm still an apprentice, on my path to education.

These books disposed as such made me think of a mountain, a challenge to climb which will never grow smaller, as the more we learn, the more we find affinities in a topic and go inDepth. Once reached this level we then rise to another level or move onto another topic and work on a certain level of mastery.

Setup : On a glass table in the lounge, pile of books, ambiant light, contrats & saturation in LR.

Whilst our world is breaking apart with wars and starvation, us happy societies can enjoy the discovery of striving species, the most amazing of a kind.

Nontheless it is not always simple to get to know one another, Nano with their shaky counter-weight tend to stress out the Dino PetShop animal, whom felt a little pekish when she decided to eat a LegoMan to see what it could taste of.

Story doesn't tell us what happened to the outnumbered PetShop... did she tame like NightFury ? Did she become the second walking animal after the horse to make this new civilization begin on a new ground ?

I guess we shall have to wait for another night, another part of the story to know what will happen to the NPL team (NanoPetShopLego Team)
