Te Whanganui-A-Hei (Cathedral Cove) Marine Reserve is a marine reserve on the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand.

Cathedral Cove is named after the cave located there linking Mare’s Leg Cove to Cathedral Cove. Gemstone Bay and Stingray Bay are also located within the reserve. A walking track exists from the northern end of Hahei Beach, and it is also possible to walk from the local authority car park at the top of the headland between Hahei and Gemstone Bay. The area is very popular with tourists, and receives around 150,000 visitors a year.

The cave and beach was used as the tunnel through which the Pevensie children first re-enter Narnia in the movie version of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

I took this photo just over one year ago, where I met up with Chris, Soren and Conor. Thank you for this memorable and fun morning :).

I think, it was sitting definitely too long untouched on my hard drive. Finally, a few days ago I decided to work on this image and I'm glad I did it :)

Firstly, I took 5 vertical photos at 20mm; 1/3sec; f/14; ISO 100 with my Canon 50d and Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 and Hitech filters (2 stop HE and 3 stop SE). Then, corrected individual images in Lightroom and exported as tiff files for work in Photoshop, where I stitched those photos manually (auto feature didn't work for me at all) to achieve this 2:1 panorama. Later, I did a few minor adjustments such as contrast and color balance in Photoshop.

The high resolution of 9378 x 4689 pixel for large prints is available.

It seems that photo above looks better on majority monitors.

Dear Friends !!!

Could you please tell me which of those two photos looks better on your monitor's screen? Firstly, I processed this photo (on top > in actual photostream) on Toshiba laptop (not mine) and I was quite happy with the outcome, so I uploaded on flickr lol. Then I went to my PC to see how it looks, and I couldn't believe what I saw. It looked awful :(. It is too dark and way over saturated.
So, I processed this photo again on my PC. Please see outcome below and tell me which one looks better on your monitor.
