"I've had less time and energy for photography lately ... for several reasons. However - this is very likely to be temporary, it is - and it has to be. Or I'll end up very unhappy :)

The creative process demands a little surplus of energy to work properly, I find ... but then again - sometimes a little slow photo walk can give more energy ... sometimes. It should never never ever be causing stress anyway ... stress kills the passion!

Flickr is a great place for inspiration and sharing the love of this great thing ... photography.
However, I have noticed that many photo enthusiasts feel the same way I do lately ... That if you at some point don't have the time and energy to pay all the deserved attention to the work of your contacts - then you should not upload any work yourself either. I have also seen people leave Flickr because of this.

Something is so wrong about this way of seeing it ... Where is the fun and thrill of creativity in it? Silly
feelings of guilt! All of us are busy and a little under the weather from time to time. That is life!

This should not be ALL about views and favs and comments ... it should be about celebrating and enjoying creativity and individuality ... about being happy when one actually has the time to dive into all the enjoyable photographic work of others ... about being proud of having the courage to show one's work .... because it leaves us a little vulnearable - after all ... ;)

Every night tens of thousands of people are waiting for the Dubai Fountain shows, which is a record-setting choreographed fountain. Its show is very very impressive. I myself could never get enough of its breathtaking beauty.
