For this shot, I only had about 60 seconds to capture the magical light hitting the towers of the bridge before it was all over. It turned a mediocre shot into one of my favorites. Thanks for looking.

Oahu's North Shore turned out to be our absolute favorite part of the island. The old-timey laid back feel was in such sharp contrast to the chaos of Waikiki and Honolulu. Since we were here in August, we missed out on the massive waves this beach is famous for but the view was still pretty decent. Thanks for looking!

I love that they are still using the old Epcot Center symbol somewhere, even if it's just in the drinks at Rose & Crown. They must have a whole warehouse full of these leftover from the 80s or something because aside from the one on the ground between Future World and World Showcase, Disney has pretty much abandoned these awesome symbols. I really like the sweeping lines of the stairs in this shot and the way they tend to lead to the tower. I shot this with a fisheye but hated the way the tower looked so I tried a de-fished version and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Thanks for looking!

France is definitely in my top 3 favorite Epcot pavilions to photograph, especially at night. I went intentionally warm with the white balance here for no other reason than it just felt right. I have another version of this shot with a much cooler WB that I will post at some point but I think I prefer this one (for now at least). Thanks for looking!

Just upgraded to Lightroom 4 yesterday and I am loving it! My favorite new feature is definitely the local white balance adjustment brush. I used it here to warm up the fountain in the foreground while still keeping the small patch of sky a natural blue. I found that when I used to want a warmer WB, the sky would always suffer and turn an ugly shade of pale blue-green but now I can avoid all of that hassle. Thanks for looking!

As I was waiting for Illuminations to start, I noticed this wild sunset beginning to develop. Fortunately I had my family to hold my spot for me as I bolted to the Imagination Pavilion to grab a few photos. I didn't have my tripod but I still wanted to show as much monorail motion as possible (which wasn't much unfortunately). In hindsight it might have been better to freeze the motion but I'm still mostly satisfied with the result. Thanks for looking!
