ok - the map location is a bad guesstamate, this was straightened in post, just straightened... the colour is as it was, those doors really caught my eye.

-27°C (-17°F) Feb 3rd. Last night, 5 inches of snow, some roads in town are still unplowed - but on the frozen river, the laneways are clear.

EDIT TO ADD

These are Ice Fishing Shacks...on the Ottawa River. The laneways on the river are often kept cleaner than the adjoining city streets. Sometimes the nightlife is better as well.
