Setting Sun (Obscured by Clouds) with Silhouettes

A guy called John posted a photo:

I was driving past a local beauty spot last week, when the perfect 'photo-op' presented itself. Unfortunately, I decided in my wisdom to drive past, thinking that there'd be another opportunity.

Hoping for a second shot at the shot, so to speak, I drove back there this week, but of course the opportunity was lost. Some chances occur only once, and if you don't grasp them there and then........

On the way back, I saw this imperfect sunset, (my first sunset picture no less!) and thought I'd try to salvage something from my drive.

A woman looks towards the towers of Canary Wharf, London, from the vantage point of Greenwich Observatory.

I was in London over St.Patrick's weekend for the Ireland/England rugby international.
We took a boat trip down the Thames to Greenwich. Worth a visit.
