This little guy and his Dad (I assume it was his Dad) were really cute. It seemed that Dad was trying to get him to wave at the crowd. I loved his little outfit.

Another old scanned slide from my Dad's pictures, my Mom and me, at Panama Beach Florida. This one was in color, but I made it black and white. These slides were ones I scanned several years ago and they weren't in that great of condition, so I had to do some work on them. Still, I like this shot. See, I was blond then! :)

I was NOT going to add another photo tonight, this one actually was one I was going to delete, it was slightly out of focus and I didn't get most of her head, but there was something about her expression. She wasn't happy with me because she had been in trouble all afternoon for getting into things. Yes, she gets into things and she's not happy with me. :)

Red Snow Suits

Another old photo. My Dad is holding me, I'm not sure who the other kids are. I liked the red snow suits, and it doesn't look like that much fun to be so bundled up. I haven't lived where it snowed very much of my life, so I guess this was probably an uncommon experience for us. My Mom must have taken this shot, so I'm surprised anyone has a head! :)

I guess I should admit I played with it just a little. Oh, and it really is best if you'll click on it and check it out on black.

What Doll Head?!

This is another of my Dad's old slides I scanned and cleaned up a little. This is me, I'm not really sure exactly what's going on here. I think that's my sister's doll's head. This was from a series of shots of me with my Dad and my Mom, and I had that doll's head in at least one of the shots. Don't know if I threw it or someone else threw it to get my attention. It just strikes me as funny, and I'm kind of amazed the camera caught it so well in the air. I'll have to ask my Dad what sort of a camera he used. I know he had a Retina.

I am not exactly sure what this area was called, but this was taken about 1963, and I was pretty young. We lived off base, but my Dad was stationed at Itazuki AFB in Japan. I wanted to post this scan from an old slide he took, because the earthquake has made me think of the wonderful people of Japan. They were so kind when we lived there, and I have always felt such great love and admiration for them. My prayers for them and everyone else who may be affected.
