A subdued sunset at Porth Swtan, kind of typical of our summer this year so far...!

I managed to walk right out into the bay on the rock shelf that was being left by the dropping tide, and catch some of the decent waves still being pushed along by the storms further out to sea. More like an image I'd expect to catch in winter!

I'm sure there's a scientific name for those waves, you know, those ones that come in three's every few minutes or so and catch you unawares as they rush in harder than the rest and give you a good soaking!

Taken during a quick 20mins grabbed after work one day this week down at Penmon... had a staring competition with a few seals, enjoyed the sunset, all good.

A real stunner of a sunset that came from out of nowhere this evening...

Llanbadrig (Church of St Patrick), so named because St Patrick was shipwrecked on a small island just off the coast here (Middle Mouse), and founded the small church above the beach in 440AD. Before becoming a bit of a celebrity in Ireland ;)
