Copper Coast Photography Tour

This was my first Photographic Tour of The Copper Coast, in Co. Waterford, Ireland, this weekend.
My Lucky guests were from Offshoot Photographic Society in Dublin.
We visited 8 spectacular locations over the 2 days.
This was Offshoot Photographic Society's first time visiting The Copper Coast and they were stunned by spectactular scenery it has to offer.
I am now running tours of the Copper Coast, in County Waterford, Ireland.
It is located between Dungarvan and Tramore in Co. Waterford which is full of hidden spectacular beaches.

I am from the area and know the "Off the beaten tracks" locations that only locals like myself know.
I will also give tutorials to grouos, if need be.

Headed to Ballinclamper this evening. Wasn't expecting for anything much.
But then i saw these rocks, which, to me looked liked a big foot.
I also have this in colour, but don't know which one i like best.

Myself and Joy headed to Madrid for the weekend. Got very few photo opportunities.
A bit disappointed as it was my first time using my new D800 and 16-35 lens.
The rear of this Church was much more interesting as there is a spectacular Organ underneath a spectacular ceiling.

Had a great night, too much to drink and this was the way i was seeing things around 3am.

Noticed these rocks were getting bigger as the tide was going out.
I like the arrangement of them and used my zoom lens to keep the composition as simple as possible.

Another view of Abbeyside Church.
This was quite a difficult shot to capture as the moon was always going to be washed out.
The moon is really there. I did't put the moon into the picture using photoshop.
I took a second shot, exposing for the moon and blended the two shots together later in PS.

Taken this evening after work. The moon was very high in the sky and lit up the water underneath.
Didn't stay long as it was freezing cold.

Something a bit different this time.
Myself and Joy went for a cycle around Stanley Park and couldn't resist stopping in this location.
The rocks leading into the buildings caught my eye.
It was too bright to take some standard pictures but perfect for Infrared.

This beautiful seeting is roughly halfway climb between Lake Louise and Lkae Agnes.
The Big Beehive behind the trees is just massive in size and was quiet hard to photograph.

Something a bit different this time.
This is a Pull Back shot of me shooting Lake Agnes, taken by my wife Joy.
This was her first time using a DSLR as our other two compacts went belly up.
By the end of the following day she was able to use the camera in manual mode
and really got into taking some great shots.

Lake Agnes is a small mountain lake in the Banff National Park of Alberta, Canada.
It has a surface of 0.52 km² and is a tough 4km (one-way) hike from Lake Louise.

This was one tough hike but worth the effort.

This is a beautiful picnic and barbeque area, just outside Banff town.
The ideal time to come here to take some photos is late evening, which wasn't possible for me, but i was lucky to have some nice clouds and some nice frontlight.
This is not a hdr.

Bow Lake is a small lake in western Alberta, Canada. It is located on the Bow River, in the Canadian Rockies, at an altitude of 1920 m.

This is such a beautiful and tranquil place. I could have spent a whole day here.
Conditions were perfect for what i wanted. Plenty of clouds.

Peyto Lake (pea-toe) is a glacier-fed lake located in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies.
It was named for Bill Peyto, an early trail guide and trapper in the Banff area.
During the summer, significant amounts of glacial rock flour flow into the lake, and these suspended rock particles give the lake a bright, turquoise color. Because of its bright color, photos of the lake often appear in illustrated books, and area around the lake is a popular sightseeing spot for tourists in the park.

Can't believe that I've got over 21000 views for my previous shot.

Took this shot of Peyto Lake on the way to Banff from Jasper.
Was asleep in the car at the time and near missed the turn off up to this wonderful lake and only for my wife Joy i would have missed this shot.

Moraine Lake is a glacially-fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6,183 feet (1,885 m). The lake has a surface area of .5 square kilometres (0.19 sq mi).

This was one of the only evening shots i could do as we were on holidays and some of the locations are quite remote and didn't want to meet any bears.
