23/03/2013; Even though I wasn't feeling very well this particular cold and sleety weekend, especially on Sunday, I couldn't visit London and not check out St. Paul's Cathedral by night.

It was too bad that road works were going on, which obviously wasn't intended in my original plan, but I had to make a shot anyway while I was there.

12/03/2013; Finished plan A, now it's time for a couple of days of plan B, as I promised over here.

As blue hour was basically going on already when I arrived at Central station, I needed to go somewhere interesting quickly. So I chose the Red Light District, where I usually walk past this spot.

I already made a daytime panorama of it, as well as a fully nocturnal shot, but I don't have one of this view during blue hour yet. So while I was there, I might as well make use of the opportunity, right? :)

03/03/2013; I hung out with Mark the day before, when we past this spot when we were on our way back to Central station. I didn't have my proper camera gear with me back then, so I decided to go back the evening after.

17/02/2013; After I reached Holysloot and I did some shooting there, it was time to go home again after a while. The wind was coming out of the north, so when I cycled from Ransdorp to Zunderdorp, I experienced more headwind than I would like to.

When I finally cycled into Zunderdorp, I felt like taking a small break to get back to breath. While I did so, I might as well play a little with the sheep, right? :)

17/02/2013; When I was shooting at the church of Holysloot, this cat came walking by. She was clearly used to people, as she came straight to you when you called her. And once she was at your side, it took some effort to get her away from you again. XD

Not that I was complaining ofcourse, she was a great model because of her loyalty. And she reminded me of how I would lie down whenever I would be at the beach (although I would obviously be wearing shorts at least). :P

And I admit, I have made a shot like this before, however I do like the traffic stripes in this shot better. Now I only still need one with these kind of traffic stripes, but in combination with a predominantly bright sky and the occasional floatinng sheepy cloud...

25/01/2013; I have walked in the Zeedijk plenty of times, meaning I must have walked along this little street numerous times as well. However, I can't remember I have ever given this little street even a second of attention before the moment I made this shot.

06/10/2012; While I was in the ghost alley, I was attracted towards the 1627 building you see in the right of this shot.

Then I saw the photographic potential when I saw plenty of cars driving by in this street. But I couldn't have ever expected a taxi slowly trying to park it's way in the tiny parking space that was still available in front of me. :D

06/01/2013; It was nice and sunny (and with a temperature of 8 or so degrees Celsius almost tropical compared to how it is now) for the first time since what felt like weeks, and I felt like exercising a bit.

Ergo: time to hit the road with my bike. The destination? Landelijk Noord. Or Durgerdam, to be more precisely. To begin with the side of the village where you can find mostly reed at the water.

13/10/2012; The Festival of Lights already made it fairly crowded at the Brandenburger Tor and the Potsdamer Platz, but that was nothing compared to the masses of people that were at this for Berlin standards relatively small square called the Gendarmenmarkt, where it's 3 main sightseeing spots all joined into this festival.

The Französischer Dom was a bit disappointing, so I didn't make any shots of that, but here's the Deutscher Dom, and I'll show you the Konzerthaus tomorrow.

13/10/2012; After I showed you 1 side of the Panoramapunkt last Wednesday, now it's time for the other side. With the Sony Center in the foreground and the Tiergarten in the background.

By the way, in order to take my photography a bit more seriously, I decided to gradually drop the Aardewerk thing and just stick with something closer towards me. Perhaps not the most original of names, but at least a lot easier to pronounce for the international folks.
