I have not seen many pictures of this corner from the era after the Safeway was built but before the corner building was destroyed for parking.

The right-hand building appears to have survived into the 1960s, until everything on the block was replaced by the Safeway parking lot.

It is hard to duplicate the angle for this one because so many of the landmarks are now obscured by trees.

The angle of this picture is no longer reproducible because the Safeway building has been widened.

I don't understand how Reservoir Street worked at this time -- it looks like it was still more of a street than a parking lot access road, and there are a bunch of fences and walls on the south side of it.
