I like the way Golden Ears mountain pokes out of the back of this photo. I am hoping to climb this mountain later this summer once the snow melts down a little. Should be a great view from up there.

In Pacific Rim National Park there is a great little trail that takes you through this bog. The trees in the bog are a lot different than the other trees in the surrounding rainforest.

I normally don't take photos in the middle of the day, I wait till the light is better at sunrise, sunset or at night. However, I really liked the clouds this day so snapped a couple of shots.

With the cold clean spring air the stars were bright in the sky. When I say cold I mean it, after taking star photos for an hour my feet were frozen and even after I got into my sleeping bag, it took me over an hour to totally warm up. But the view and the photos were worth it.

I had to get a ways out of the city to get this photo of the milky way. It is a four hour drive from Maple Ridge to Roche Lake park, worth every minute of the drive!

I was camping this past weekend far away from any city lights. The stars were amazing. When I looked up while sitting at the camp fire this is what I saw. The trees are lit by the campfire which is what gives them the orange color.
