Golden leaves and snow

A visit to Burnaby mountain this afternoon revealed green grass, fresh snow as well golden fall leaves, both on the ground and in the trees. It was a beautiful sunny day with blue skies all around! The kids were enjoying playing in the snow and sliding down the hills up there. This was taken under golden-leafed tree near sunset.

It's the second day of Winter. And, after a dull day of rain and clouds, the sun appeared and fired up the sky. It was wonderful to see!

Toronto's Pearson airport, shortly before sunrise. I liked the way the wreath stood out in the dim corridor. Also I liked that the corridor was mainly lit by natural lighting.

As the sun slides down behind the distant mountains, the fog that covers the city below is given a warm glow.

The inversion that lasted several days created many wonderful photo opportunities!
