This print was one of a few found tucked into a book I bought secondhand some years ago. The caption on the reverse reads "Clipper Undaunted" at Idlewild on arrival from Shannon with 23 cattle". N7822C (line no. 1013 in DC-6/DC-7 production) was delivered to Pan American on 6 August 1958 (a Slick order ntu). Pan Am transferred it to PANAGRA in 1959. It was sold to Aaxico Airlines in 1961. Its last operator was Carga Aerea Dominicana and in November 1986, it was lost in a crash in the Bahamas.
