Did you actually think I would leave <i><b><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austria">Austria</a></b></i> without showing you the capital?<br /> <br /> Welcome to <b><i><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vienna">Vienna</a></i></b>, <i><b><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austria">Austria</a></b></i>. The 10th largest city by population in the European Union and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It was ranked #1 (tied with Vancouver) among 127 cities for overall quality of life in a 2005 study.<br /> <br /> This is a photograph of The <b><i><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belvedere_Palace">Upper Belvedere</a></i></b>. A baroque palace that was built between 1720-1723. Belvedere is a palace complex built by Prince Eugene of Savoy just south-east of the historic city center of Vienna.<br /> <br /> Although it was raining when we visited Laurie and I still had a wonderful time exploring the complex. There is a magnificent garden with plenty of fountains just behind this building, that I wish the whole world could see.
