I wanted to do another shot with the art hedge before it got too-too cold. So... a greek myth for you all. I was actually listening to Mozart's The Magic Flute all day, so that's what the shot reminds me of. The image has nothing in common with the opera except that same dark fantasy feeling. Still, this is my shot for FGR's invasion of "Music in my Mind."

Taken 10/18/08 in an abandoned caboose. It looks rather more like a senior portrait than I'd intended but... Also, hair got in the way...but with how my hair was behaving that day, that was as good as it was going to get.

ETA : a student of mine ( 3rd grade) saw this photo and informed me I was much prettier in pictures than real life. Nothing like children's honesty to make one feel a frump! lol!

For FGR's invasion of " Your Hometown."
Laramie was founded when building the transcontinental railroad; in fact, the pass as you go out of town is the highest point of the line. Here I'm standing on the overland bridge, which you may recognize from other shots in my stream, and the rail yard behind me. It turned out to be a surprisingly beautiful day out too!

For GTWL- Happy Anniversary, the Places theme.

I was pleased this one turned out... just a little noir-ish minus any weird angles those films are fond of.... Its like a scene from a bad hard boiled dick story. I'm even by a labortory! ( A wool labortory its true but...). Anyway, figured such a cliche of private eye looks deserved an equally cliche title. One to do Snoopy proud.
