Israel Pavilion for the Shanghai World Expo 2010: Innovation for Better Life

Designed by pioneering Tel Aviv architect Haim Dotan (whose mother was born in Shanghai) in collaboration with designer Prosper Amir, the Israeli pavilion is composed of two streamlined buildings hugging each other like two clasped hands, or a 'seashell'. One side of the seashell is made of authentic stone while the other is made from transparent glass. With a cost of $10.5 million (40 million-shekel), it is the first national pavilion that Israel has built at a world exhibition.

The Whispering Garden is a green orchard that greets visitors as they enter the building, with some 50 orange trees will “whisper” in Chinese and English when visitors approach them. Israel's irrigation technology and nature is showcased in this area with Israeli-invented 3-D television screens (no glasses required) showing images of the country.

You step into a glass-enclosed half-rotunda, where there’s a 100-foot-long painting of Israeli scenes (Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, deserts, orchards) and video images of the country’s diversity: big-hatted Hasids and bikini’d beachgoers.

Then you’re ushered into the Hall of Light six stories high with 300 other people for a wraparound multimedia movie. Flashes of color and light, then stars forming, images of energy and massing matter. You are soon looking at Einstein and E=mc2.

The centerpiece of the Israel Pavilion is the Hall of Israel and Jewish Innovation including two pages of the original manuscript of Albert Einstein's landmark Theory of Relativity (E=mc2), on loan from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A special audio-visual show will allow visitors to talk with Israeli children, scientists, doctors and inventors via hundreds of screens. The pavilion highlights Israel’s reputation for technological innovation, featuring such locally developed products as the pill-sized camera designed to be swallowed by patients with gastrointestinal ailments, sold by Given Imaging Ltd. There is also an emphasis on Israeli developments in so- called green-technology fields such as water conservation and solar energy.

" הביתן הלאומי של ישראל בתערוכה העולמית אקספו 2010 בשנחאי, סין.הוא מבנה ארכיטקטוני חדשני וטכנולוגי המסמל דיאלוג, תנופה ופריצה. הביתן זורם בצורתו ומביע תנועה ודינאמיות ומשתנה בכל זווית ראייה בשעות היום והלילה.

המבנה מורכב משני גופים ארכיטקטוניים משולבים ומאוחדים הבנויים מאבן וזכוכית.
שני הגופים מסמלים דיאלוג בין אדם וטבע, בין אדם לאדם, בין עם לעם, בין העבר לעתיד. החללים הפנימיים של הביתן הישראלי הינם חללים מעוגלים אמורפים המתנשאים אל-על ומסמלים את רוחניות העם היהודי העתיק והמודרני.

שטח המתחם של הביתן הישראלי הוא 2000 מ"ר. שטחו הבנוי של הביתן הוא כ-1200 מ"ר וגובהו 24 מטרים. הביתן מורכב משלושה חלקים: הגן, היכל האור והיכל החדשנות. הקונספט האומנותי של התצוגה תומך במסר המרכזי של הביתן: "חדשנות לחיים טובים יותר". הקונספט נולד בהתאמה הרמונית למבנה האדריכלי תוך הדגשת הדיאלוג המתקיים ביהדות בין מסורת, קידמה ויצירת נקודות השקה בין התרבות היהודית לבין התרבות הסינית. פסגת החידושים והפיתוחים הטכנולוגיים של ישראל תוצג במופע מולטימדיה חדשני ומרהיב, תוך שימוש באמצעי תצוגה טכנולוגים מתקדמים בעולם.

תערוכת אקספו בשנחאי סין, 2010, היא תערוכת האקספו הגדולה בהיסטוריה וצפויים לבקר בה כ- 70 מליון איש. למבקרים הרבים הצפויים להגיע לביתן הישראלי.

上海世博会以色列馆

以色列国家馆由两座流线型建筑体组成，好像环抱在一起的双手，又好似一只海中的贝壳。为了突出上海这座沿海城市，也为了呼应“海宝”的名称，以色列特意为展馆取名“海贝壳”。
在建筑上，以色列馆尽显“创新与未来”。低语花园、光之厅、创新厅等三个体验区，让参观者亲身体验现代技术带来的视听享受。供游客等候的“低语花园”中将种植令人愉悦的绿色果树。道路两旁有繁茂的树木覆盖，使游客可以在长凳上休息，且免受阳光曝晒或雨水的烦恼。“低语花园”里种有54棵芦柑树，展示物尽其用的“滴灌技术”与农业特色。在光之厅，无论是白天还是夜晚，游客都可以在以色列馆外相邻的高架步道上观看视频展示。这个展示将被投影到展馆玻璃空间内部的一座15米高的墙面上。整个以色列馆的高潮部分是“创新厅”。一场由漂浮在动态空间里的灯球所呈现的360度视听演出将在这里演绎，演出将展现以色列在其各领域中科技创新所带来的崭新局面。集中展示当代技术：从植物中提取柴油，加工成航空用油；在奶牛蹄上安装智能“蹄铁”，窥知奶牛的想法……

Italy Pavilion at the Shanghai 2010 World Expo

To Italians, “Shanghai” evokes memories of a childhood game known in the Anglophone world as “pick-up sticks.” It also serves as inspiration for the physical, conceptual and symbolic creation of this Italian pavilion at Shanghai Expo. It looks as if six flaming sticks were dropped on a 3,600 square meter ice cube, measuring 18 meters high, dividing the building into several sections. From the inside of each compartment, visitors experience one of the many different Italian cultures, including regional cuisines, wine, opera and fashion, while gazing through transparent cement walls that provide a glimpse into another, thereby forming a symbolic Italy. From an aerial perspective, the buildings resemble the topography of traditional Italian cities and Chinese urban centers with their short alleys and non-perpendicular streets.

Main exhibition and content
The Italian pavilion will host a main exhibition curated by the Trieannale di Milano Foundation on the ground floor and several other thematic and cultural exhibitions and events on the first floor with the involvement of Italian regions, cities, public institutions and the private sector.

The main exhibition will be divided into 5 rooms. The first room explores the theme of mobility: it will be brightly lit with steel walls and floors underlining the items on display. It will feature the works of 4 modern artists, and icons of 20th century Italy including a new hybrid Ferrari 599 HY-KERS and a classic Isotta Fraschini (the most luxurious car in history).

Room 2 focuses on Italian craftsmanship. Inside a glass walled workshop, master craftsmen will be at work. There will be restoration experts, tailors, silversmiths, violin makers and many more. Along the walls surrounding the workshop will be an exhibition of contemporary Italian design.

On the ceiling of room 3 there will be a satellite view of the Italian peninsula while on the ground, items of Italian manufacture relating to the expo theme will be scattered. These will include the “MOSE” project that protects Venice from tides, solar-powered cars and hybrid motorbikes. The 4th room is a room dedicated to food. Hanging from the ceiling will be a grain field, in the middle stands a centuries old olive tree and on the walls will be an enormous display of wine and pasta. Two large still-life paintings by a renowned 17th century painter Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio , "Basket of fruit" and "Boy with a basket of fruit", will also be on display.

The 5th and final room is the covered ‘piazza’, the heart of the pavilion. It will be the climax of the exhibition, celebrating Italian music, fashion and architecture. The room contains elements of a classic architectural masterpiece, one of its walls will showcase fashion samples, and a scenic installation will reproduce a symphony orchestra.

Padiglione Italiano all'Esposizione Universale di Shanghai 2010 - La “Città dell’uomo”

Progettato dall’architetto Giampaolo Imbrighi e dai suoi Associati, il padiglione illustra i valori culturali italiani senza dimenticare quelli del paese ospite, con un omaggio alla città di Shanghai e al famoso gioco che prende il suo nome.

Il disegno del padiglione presenta una pianta quadrata di 3.600 mq metri per un’altezza di 18 metri ed una divisione in più corpi di dimensioni diverse ed irregolari collegati da strutture-ponte in acciaio che lasciano intravedere i ballatoi di collegamento. Il progetto soddisfa sul piano strutturale l’esigenza di essere eventualmente smontato e ricostruito in dimensione ridotta in un’altra area della città.

Una "Città dell'Uomo" quindi dove i concetti di qualità della vita saranno modulati attraverso l'ingegneria e l'urbanistica sostenibile, le infrastrutture ecologiche, e l'architettura, il restauro e i progetti di welfare sociale; ma anche attraverso alcune punte di eccellenza nostrane come la cura del corpo, la moda, il cibo e la cultura, simboli del Made in Italy, ma soprattutto dell'Italian style of Life.

Il Padiglione è pensato come una “macchina” dal particolare funzionamento bioclimatico con l’obiettivo di un significativo risparmio energetico. Gli elementi fotovoltaici integrati nei vetri delle coperture esterne garantiranno un effetto schermante dalle radiazioni, mentre il progetto illuminotecnico dell’edificio mira non soltanto a scandire gli spazi, ma anche a favorire il risparmio di energia.

Lo Studio Iodice di Aversa e in particolare gli architetti Teresa Crescenzi, Antonello De Bonis, Cosimo Dominelli, Francesco Iodice, Giuseppe Iodice e Marcello Silvestre hanno collaborato con l'architetto Imbrighi al progetto.

上海世博会意大利馆

意大利馆的设计灵感来源于被意大利人称之为 “上海”的游戏，这个游戏其实就是上海小朋友玩的游戏棒. 由20个不规则、可自由组装的功能模块组合而成，代表意大利20个大区。整座展馆犹如一座微型意大利城市，充满弄堂、庭院、小径、广场等意大利传统城市元素. 从整个外观看，意大利馆如同一个被分割的马赛克，也是可以组成多样的图案，体现了不同地域多元文化、和谐共处的关系。

意大利馆不仅在设计上新颖别致，展馆还采用了具有透光性的“透明水泥”和具有自动清洁功能的“抗菌瓷砖”等新型材料建造。入口采用了著名建筑师Andrea Palladio为维琴查奥林匹克歌剧院入口设计的拱门造型.

意大利奢侈品很多，这一点意大利馆也会有所体现，比如世界顶级的最新款法拉利跑车会在意大利馆里亮相，还有一些知名的时装、意大利的名画。米兰是国际时尚之都，意大利馆也汇聚了众多奢侈品牌的时装，在为期6个月的展览之当中，意大利馆会上演PRADA、阿玛尼、范思哲这样的世界著名品牌的时装秀。

除了顶级奢侈品之外，意大利还会举办多场音乐会，包括意大利的盲人音乐歌唱家安德烈•波塞利也会在这里为大家演出。另外展馆里面还会有意大利文艺复兴时期的著名画家米开朗基罗的两幅杰作——《水果篮》和《捧果篮的男孩》，这也是它们首次亮相中国。另外，意大利馆里还会有非常好的创新的科技成果展示，7月 15日到30日意大利馆将展示一系列的意大利创新竞赛的成果，包括可以吸收空气中烟尘的油漆以及新型的食品，还有一些市场上已有产品的优化升级版本，都会在意大利展馆里面有所展示。

古罗马凯旋门“搬进馆”
透过门口的玻璃墙，老远就可以看到意大利馆入口处的古罗马凯旋门。在进门的第一个区域，一款伊索塔弗拉西尼的黑色F1老爷车尽显尊贵，涂鸦风格的红色Fiat跑车也颇为夺人眼球。而布展者特意将另一款脱卸了底壳的绿色跑车斜置，利用地面玻璃反射，将跑车的整个底部展现给参观者。

墙上的交响乐队
另一个重要展区可以概括为“教堂穹顶下的华服”。参观者可以看到，佛罗伦萨著名圣母百花大教堂的“顶部”被四根彩柱高高托起。教堂顶的旁边耸立的三件大约是两人多高的男女礼服，它们“放大”了意大利高级成衣的上等制作工艺。红色的女装晚礼服出自Versace的设计，而黑色的那件则是Dolce&Gabbana的，黑色的男士长大衣为 Zegna品牌。而这一展区的一侧墙上则是缩小了的男女礼服。另一面墙上垂直展开的整个交响乐队的布局，据悉也是按同比例缩小制作的。交响乐队的展示融合了意大利的小提琴制作和高级服装制作工艺。除了以上这些展示，一楼展馆内还设立了一个透明的玻璃屋，里面展示的是菲拉格慕女鞋的制作工艺。一楼的另一个区域中还安放了一株橄榄树。这个小展区的四周是有关橄榄用途的图片展示，例如橄榄油的制作等。

一人多高的超炫凉鞋
你见过的最巨型的意大利皮鞋有多大？在意大利馆，虽然玻璃的建筑外形不见得有多少特点，但橱窗里摆着一只一人多高的凉鞋，让很多游客惊讶不已。这只松糕凉鞋是金色的带式鞋面，鞋跟呈现出不同颜色叠加的条纹，很炫。另外一只大红色的高跟皮鞋也有一人多高，不管你是多么资深的“血拼狂”，当你看到意大利馆摆得里三圈外三圈的大牌皮鞋的时候，是不是都会被时尚的欲望击倒在地？

史上最豪华汽车

“这车现在还能开啊”，意大利馆展厅内一辆产自1923年的Isotta Fraschini汽车引人注目，这辆车由Emilio Castagna设计，价值超过500万美元，目前仍然能正常行驶，被尊为历史上最奢华的座驾。

世博会意大利馆镇馆之宝

在世博会意大利馆众多珍贵展品中，文艺复兴艺术巨匠米开朗基罗•梅里西•达•卡拉瓦乔的绘画杰作《水果篮》与《捧果篮的男孩》无疑是镇馆之宝。米开朗基罗与达芬奇、拉斐尔并称“文艺复兴三杰”。此次展出的《水果篮》和《捧果篮的男孩》是他的早期作品，创作于1596年之前的《水果篮》更被认为是世界上第一幅静物油画，艺术价值难以估量。这两幅画作展示出的强调明暗及写实特色的画法，被称为“卡拉瓦乔样式”，为那不勒斯、西班牙、荷兰等地的艺术发展带来深远的影响。这是米开朗基罗的作品首次在中国展出，而在此之前，这两幅作品还从未出过意大利国门。

France Pavilion: The Sensual City

The France pavilion for the Shanghai World Expo 2010, opened by French President Nicholas Sarkozy and his wife, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, showcases the sights, smells, tastes, sounds, feel and glamour of France.

Designed by Jacques Ferrier Architectures, France’s “Sensual City” Pavilion is covered in a concrete trellis-like structure with the most advanced building maters and environmental protection technology and features a garden inside with plants growing on the walls, a roof garden and pools of water while birdsong will be piped in and fragrance wafted into the air to make visitors feel they might actually in France.

Seven art masterpieces, six paintings and one sculpture (The Angelus by Jean-Francois Millet, The Balcony by Edouard Manet, La Sallee Danse à Arles by (The Dance Hall in Arles) Vincent Van Gogh, La Femme à la Cafetière (Woman with a Coffee Pot) by Paul Cézanne, La loge (The Box) by Pierre Bonnard and Le Repas also called Les Bananes (The Meal, also called, Bananas) by Paul Gauguin and The Age of Bronze by August Rodin have been brought over from the the renowned Orsay Museum in Paris to create what the deputy mayor of Paris said would be a “pavilion of dreams”.

'The Angelus' by Millet, which depicts a farming couple praying in a field as dusk falls, had already been exhibited at the World Expo in Paris in 1867.

'The Age of Bronze," a life-size nude male by Rodin, was displayed at the 1889 and 1900 World Expos.

As the spokesman of French Pavilion, Alain Delon, the 1960s heart throb, has even composed a musical 'Douce France' just for the Expo. The musical features familiar tunes such as the "La Vie En Rose".

A cat with a baguette and a béret, Léon, mascot of France Pavilion, will interact with every visitor.

The French restaurant "Le Sixieme Sens” (6Sens), headed by the Pourcel brothers, will also be a must.

Meanwhile, in one of the pavilion's gardens, visitors can 'get married' on a patio. A romantic honeymoon in a French castle will be offered to a lucky Chinese couple. Visitors will also be able to buy magnolia-scented perfume made by Hermes especially for Shanghai World Expo.

Parrainé par Alain Delon, Conçu par Jacques Ferrier sur le thème de La ville sensuelle, avec son miroir d'eau et son jardin vertical, le pavillon français s'étend sur un ensemble de 6.000 mètres carrés. Les plus grands artistes français, comme Édouard Manet, Paul Gauguin, Paul Cézanne ou encore Jean-François Millet - dont l'oeuvre L'Angélus est prêtée par le musée d'Orsay -, y sont exposés. Dix millions de visiteurs sont espérés pendant la durée de l'exposition, de mai à octobre.

走进场馆一层，吉祥物小猫Leon正蹲在中央，周身喷洒水雾。上楼之后，黑白电影正通过投影在墙上上演。繁华的街道，宁静的街角，撑伞疾行的路人，边走边翻跟头的小孩，女人萧瑟的脸，法国馆的“感性城市”主题便开始抓住观者的情绪。镜头切换、时空交错，让人感觉自己仿佛在巴黎塞纳河上乘船掠过，又像是跳跃到巴黎圣母院的塔楼上飞向城市高空。带着“巴黎式闷片”般的点点哀愁，这种情绪蔓延到中国照片墙，蔓延到屋顶像极了凡尔赛宫的园林，蔓延到最后一个花卉展示区。两位分别穿着红色旗袍和法式礼服的美女站在百合丛中，当你的脸贴近她们烈焰般的红唇，你会相信自己真的到了巴黎。

法国馆的镇馆之宝 - 法国七件顶级国宝
来自奥赛博物馆的7件总价值1亿欧元的法国国宝级艺术品成为了很多游客向往法国馆的理由。它们分别是塞尚的《咖啡壶边的妇女》、博纳尔的《化妆间》、梵・高的《阿尔的舞厅》、米勒的《晚钟》、马奈的《阳台》和高更的《餐点》(又名《香蕉》)以及罗丹的雕塑《青铜时代》。展馆中的7件珍品并不显得遥不可及，罗丹的雕塑采取的是开放式展示，仅用围栏简单围了起来，伸手可及。6幅名画并列摆放在墙上的玻璃橱窗内。

年轻女孩在LV展厅尖叫
LV展厅,白色拱门的水晶宫殿一般的T台上，模特们展示着2010/11秋冬新款时装，LV的LOGO像漫天的樱花撒向舞台，也飘向你的脸。虽然这一切只是玻璃板前的投影效果，但亦真亦幻的场景无不传达着LV的强大气场。在相邻的一个展厅，一棵透明的树上挂着银色的装饰，枝蔓铺满天花板，树下睡莲一般的花朵静静开放，让人感觉置身于另一个奇幻世界。在花朵旁边，在树桠上，搁置的不是别的，而是LV的古董箱子。

名为“法国馆”的香水
外包装采用的就是法国馆独一无二的网状结构。，幽雅迷人，主香就是上海市花白玉兰。价格倒是一改法国的奢侈风格，每瓶188元。

USA pavilion for the Shanghai 2010 World Expo

Designed by Canadian architect, Clive Grout, the U.S. pavilion struggled to raise its $61 million budget from recession-strapped companies since US law prohibits government funding for Expo pavilions without a special act of Congress.

Despite an architectural design that favors function over whimsy – the metallic, two-wing complex looks like a suburban office building (some say it's a car dealership) – polls among the Chinese indicate it will be the most frequently visited pavilion after China’s imposing National pavilion.

The American pavilion -- motto: "Rising to the Challenge" -- features a movie house, a big room filled with stands promoting the companies that are footing the bill and a fast-food joint run by Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut. The United States has also signed some big-name acts, including jazz pianist Herbie Hancock, to perform.

Upon entering the pavilion, the first thing visitors see is a wall listing the corporate sponsors. Even the no-smoking signs are sponsored by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer. The crowds enjoy a short film that shows Americans, including American President Barack Obama and NBA star Kobe Bryant, greeting visitors "Welcome to the USA pavilion" in Chinese.

A second short film in the U.S. pavilion focuses on American values. It features several sponsors, such as executives from GE and Pepsi.

In the second theatre, it unveils a third short film "urban fairy tale" -- without a word of dialogue -- on five giant screens, telling how a girl brings her neighbors together to create a community garden. The audience will feel effects such as wind and rain. Their seats will shake -- thanks to devices called "buttkickers".

Together, the three Hollywood-produced “4-D” films from Burbank, Calif.-based BRC Imagination Arts cost $23 million — more than the Oscar-winning film, The Hurt Locker.

From there, visitors will be ushered into a final hall with sponsors' displays.

上海世博会美国馆

展馆外观如一只展开双翅的雄鹰，欢迎远道而来的客人。展馆是未来美国城市的缩影，包括了清洁能源、绿色空间和屋顶花园等元素，通过多维模式和高科技手段，引领参观者在四个独特的展示空间踏上一段虚拟的美国之旅，讲述坚持不懈、创新以及社区建设的故事

进入美国馆的序厅后，观众席地而坐，会放一个关于欢迎及10多名代表各阶层、幽默的美国人学说一句中文“欢迎，你来美国馆”的街拍, 从最初的奇腔怪调，到最后学得字正腔圆，就像是小孩牙牙学语的过程。

这场似是而非的电影刚结束，侧面一扇 “美国精神”的大门又向观众打开。又是看电影――三块巨大屏幕上，一张张不同的美国脸庞，向观众展示想像力和团结协作的巨大力量。大意是关于美国在能源和科技领域的运用和理念，希拉里和奥巴马先后登场致辞.

随后进入一个可容纳500名观众的圆柱形3Ｄ影院，5个高达13米的巨大屏幕，又是一部好莱坞制作的名为《花园》的3Ｄ电影, 采用了4D的技术。影片讲述一个美国小女孩，看到钢筋森林丛中，有一片废弃的空地，她想象着通过自己种植，能变成一个花团锦簇的花园。她坚持不懈的种植激情和决心，启发感动了她的老少邻居们。在共同的乐观、创新和合作精神的指引下，曾经破败和灰暗的城市，呈现出梦幻般的美好景象。影片将通过极度逼真的图像、雷电暴雨等四维效果，加上炫丽的灯光秀，让观众沉浸在惊奇的情感和视觉体验中。特别是当播放雷电暴雨时，展厅上空也有细雨纷纷落下，让观众惊诧尖叫起来。影片中虽然没有对话，通过图像、音乐和音效的表达，不需要翻译，每个人都能理解这个故事――美国人是如何使他们的社区变得更加健康、可持续和具有文化多样性。

German pavilion is intended to be a three-dimensional walk-through sculpture with no defined interior or exterior. The Expo Plaza and the surrounding landscape cleanly overlaps into the pavilion. The theme is "Balancity," the importance of balance in a city. Visitors, on foot, moving walkways and escalators, take a tour of the “city of ideas,” stopping at local landmarks such as the harbor (where there is an underwater escalator!), town planning office, city square and power plant. The focal point of Germany’s largest-ever Expo structure is a revolving metal sphere, 3 meters in diameter and covered with 30,000 LEDs, activated by the noise and movement of spectators.

Der deutsche Pavillon auf der Expo 2010: Eine Stadt im Gleichgewicht

Es ist die größte deutsche Repräsentanz, die es je auf einer Expo gegeben hat. Mit ihren 20 Metern Höhe und einer Fläche von rund 6.000 qm ist sie wahrhaft beeindruckend. Und alles an ihr ist innovativ, umweltfreundlich und weltoffen: Die Fassade besteht aus luftdurchlässigem Kunststoffgewebe mit metallischer Oberfläche, die einen großen Teil der Sonnenstrahlen reflektiert. Das Material ist recyclebar und kann nach Rückbau des Pavillons zu Schattendächern oder Taschen umgearbeitet werden.

"Balancity" - zu deutsch: "Stadt im Gleichgewicht" - ist das Motto des deutschen Pavillons. Die Architekten wollen damit ausdrücken, dass eine Stadt umso lebenswerter ist, je besser sie Gegensätze verbindet: Innovation und Tradition, Urbanität und Natur, Arbeit und Freizeit. Und das ist ihnen auch gut gelungen. Bis zu 50.000 Besucher täglich können im Pavillon eine Tour durch deutsche Städte erleben. Dabei werden sie durch einen Tunnel in den Hamburger Hafen geschleust, dann weiter unter anderem zu einem Stadtplanungsbüro, einer Fabrik, einem Park, einem Atelier und einem Depot mit Exponaten deutscher Produkte.

Das Highlight der Ausstellung ist die Energiezentrale, ein interaktives Multivisionstheater. Darin hängt eine Kugel mit drei Meter Durchmesser, die mit 400.000 LEDs besetzt ist. In einer siebenminütigen Show erzählen Bilder von der Stadt der Zukunft. Durch gemeinsames Rufen und durch Gesten können die Besucher die 1,2 Tonnen schwere mediale Kugel über neun Meter zum Schwingen bringen und damit beweisen, dass sich "gemeinsam etwas bewegen lässt".

开放状的建筑外形轻盈而飘逸，似乎在向参观者们发出真挚的邀请。“严思”、“燕燕”—两位特殊的虚拟讲解员，将陪伴每一位参观者穿行于各个展馆。穿越了一条充满典型德国都市画面的“动感隧道”后，参观者们便会踏入“和谐都市”内设计布置奇妙的体验空间. 首先是“储藏室”，堆到屋顶高的一层层箱子中码放着德国本土研制的各类产品，他们在箱子上自豪地用中文写着：“德国创造”，这一幕令习惯了“中国制造”的我们深思。德国馆重点展示的一处叫动力之源大厅，大厅中部悬挂着一直径达3米的巨大金属球，周围则安装带有安全护网的圆周平台供游人观展。在文化大使严思和燕燕的鼓舞下，在场媒体齐声呼喊，推动金属球体开始运动，据介绍，在运动中球体将发出巨大的动力。

Japan Pavilion: Most Advanced Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo

Dubbed the Purple Silkworm Island for its lilac cocoon-like shape and built with advanced environmentally friendly and recycling technologies, the 24-meter-high Japanese pavilion is the largest Japan has ever built for the world expo and the most advanced pavilion at shanghai world expo 2010. The structure has been officially nicknamed 'zi can dao' (meaning 'purple silkworm island' in Chinese) in reference to its color and shape. To Chinese, silkworms are a mark of immortality because eventually they are reborn into a high and noble form.

The roof of the pavilion is covered with membrane with built-in solar cells designed to generate 20 kilowatts to 30 kilowatts of electricity and the structure is also equipped with three horn-shaped "eco tubes" designed to take in sunlight and rain water as well as other eco-friendly systems. Inside, it showcases a range of small-scale generating and recycling technologies, including a floor that generates power as people walk on it, a window glass that incorporates a thin-film power-generating transparent solar battery, and a waste treatment device that can turn sewage into drinking water.

The eye-catcher among the exhibits at the pavilion is a model of a future city, "Zero-emission town." Using sets and images, the exhibit will show a town that emits no greenhouse gas in three dimensions. Canon Inc. will release the new digital "Wonder Camera," which produces such realistic photographs they appear to be three-dimensional. INAX Corp. will exhibit a large, high-quality and fully-automated lavatory at the pavilion. Toyota Motor Corp. will exhibit "Partner Robot," a bi-ped robot that was highly popular with visitors at the Aichi Expo in 2005. The robot will play the violin to demonstrate the high technology used to develop and produce the device. It will also introduce a single-seat electric vehicle, i-REAL. Panasonic Corp. will put on display "Life Wall," a wall with a built-in television set. As it is scheduled to release its three-dimension TV sets in China this year.

上海万博の「日本館」ライトアップ　輝く紫色

日本館は薄紫色のドーム形で愛称は「紫蚕島」（日本名・かいこじま）。太陽光や外気を取り込む角状のエコチューブ３本が屋根に備え付けられている。太陽電池と一体化した軽量膜で覆われた屋根を利用して電力を賄うなど、省エネルギー建築を実現している。

「こころの和・わざの和」がテーマで、運営費を含めたプロジェクト総額は約１３０億円。このうち約６２億円を２０社以上の民間企業が負担した。

キヤノンは日本館でコンセプトカメラ「ワンダーカメラ」を世界初公開する予定だ。動画を撮影しながら人間の笑顔を認識し、静止画に抽出する特殊な機能を持つ。館内でのミュージカルを楽しむ来場者の笑顔をその場で撮影、退場時に大画面で映し出すことで高度な画像技術を印象づけることにしている。さらに日本各地で撮影した自然風景を高さ６メートル、幅２７メートルの臨場感ある画像にして展示する。

トヨタ自動車は、親しみやすい家庭用ロボットを登場させる。介護や家事などの支援を目的にした２足歩行型で、両手と両腕に内蔵した関節を制御し、人間の手に近い繊細な動きを実現するのが特徴という。万博では指を器用に動かしてバイオリンを演奏するパフォーマンスを予定。このほかにも１人乗り移動装置「ｉ－ＲＥＡＬ」を出展する。

世界最大の１５２インチのプラズマパネル３枚が部屋の壁と一体化したパナソニックの「ライフウォール」も見ものだ。未来のリビングルームでは壁と画面の区別がなく、ジェスチャーだけの操作でテレビやインターネットなどの画像が一面に広がるコンセプトという。

上海万博には過去最多となる２４０以上の国・国際機関が参加。１９７０年の大阪万博の記録を上回る７千万人の来場者が見込まれている。

展馆爱称“紫蚕岛”，展馆外部覆盖一层利用太阳能发电的超轻“膜结构”，采用特殊环境技术，是一幢“像生命体一样会呼吸的环保建筑”。日本国家馆分为过去、现在、未来3大展区，形态融合了日本传统特色与现代风格，参观者可以通过视觉、触觉、听觉等感受到日本馆所传递的信息和魅力。 “过去”展区展示保护文化遗产的“精密复制”技术，参观者可近距离鉴赏日本名作。 “现在”展区通过照片透视画及实物展示、影像装置呈现2020年的未来城市。 “未来”展区展示具有超高清及望远功能的“万能相机”、会演奏小提琴的“伙伴机器人”和实现客厅墙壁与电视机一体化的“生活墙”。

　“会呼吸的展馆”

　　因为外形椭圆，通体紫色，日本馆有了一个美丽的名字——“紫蚕岛”。站在馆外，可以看到它的弧形表面上有三个凹进去的“鼻孔”和三个向外凸伸的“触角”。据介绍，这些“触角”和“鼻孔”具有真正的呼吸功能，被称为eco-tube即“循环呼吸柱”，阳光、空气和雨水，这些自然资源都能被最大限度地利用。炎炎夏日，管内会以喷雾来制造清凉的环境，“就像人一热就会出汗一样”。“紫蚕岛”的外表皮也不简单，它是一种高透明度的发电膜，在发电的同时也能最大程度地透光。

　　“生活墙”

　　这是一面墙，也是一台电视机。它的宽度达到10米，由3面全球最大的152英寸等离子显示屏组成，将客厅的墙壁和电视机一体化，连墙面装修都免了。人们只需通过遥控和触摸操作，就能在墙上看书看电影。据介绍，任何可以制成图像的东西都能放进去，比如时钟、电子相框、壁画，都能根据个人喜好和需要，在生活墙上布局。

　　万能相机

　　一台搭载超高清及望远功能的相机将在日本馆进行全球范围内的处子秀，它能够在拍摄视频的同时，识别相容后自动摘拍。一幅由它的“超写实巨幅照”功能拍摄的高6米、宽27米的巨大闪存照片，占据展示会场内的一片墙面。运用这种技术，巨幅照片每一个部分的远景和近景都能精确聚焦，能够在不使用3D技术的条件下，营造出灵动写实的立体空间。

　　“伙伴机器人”

　　日本馆里，有几位能拉小提琴、能看护老人的机器人。机器人娴熟的揉弦、拉弓技巧，能演奏一段优美的小提琴曲。这是运用高控制技术，调节隐藏于机器人双手及双腕的关节，使其手部以及手腕部分的活动灵活细致，不亚于人类的精巧度。将类似手部精细动作研发的成果运用到“伙伴机器人”制作上，解决社会老龄化问题，这才是小提琴机器人研究的真正意义。这款机器人能够双腿行走，很有亲和力，能够胜任照顾老人的精细工作。

Shanghai opened the 2010 World Expo to the public on Saturday, May 1st following an extravagant opening ceremony and fireworks show on Friday.

The opening ceremony, held in a new space-age $270 million Expo Cultural Center shaped like a flying saucer, featured a song by Hong Kong movie star Jackie Chan, Austrian waltz music, a performance by pianist Lang Lang, a rendition of Puccini's Nessun Dorma by Italian pop tenor Andrea Bocelli and meticulously choreographed mass dance routines.. A spectacular barrage of fireworks along the Huangpu River and a light show followed. A flotilla of boats carried the national flags of the attending nations.

The city has spent $45 billion, more than Beijing spent on the 2008 Olympics, to put on what it says will be the biggest Expo ever, and a showcase of China’s new economic might. The latest World's Fair - where 191 countries showcase their achievements in elaborate pavilions - will be the most expensive in its 150-year history.

Con una fastuosa ceremonia China inauguró este viernes la Exposición Universal más grande de la historia, con una ceremonia de fuegos artificiales y juegos de agua a orillas del río Huangpu que fue presenciada por una veintena de jefes de Estado y de gobierno.

La estrella del cine Jackie Chan realizaba uno de los actos musicales centrales del evento, en el que también tenían previsto presentarse el tenor italiano Andrea Bocelli, el pianista chino Lang Lang y el Soweto Gospel Choir sudafricano.

Dinamarca permitió que, por primera vez en la historia, la estatua de 'La sirenita' saliera de Copenhague. Francia trajo pinturas impresionistas y esculturas de Rodin, mientras que Italia apostó por obras del pintor renacentista Caravaggio. India llevará numerosas estrellas del cine de Bollywood, en tanto que Canadá ofrecerá los deslumbrantes espectáculos del Circo del Sol.

Algunas de las exposiciones universales pasaron a la historia por haber dejado obras arquitectónicas como la Torre Eiffel en París o la Aguja Espacial en Seattle, o por haber introducido al gran público adelantos como la televisión y la luz eléctrica.

Algunos de los pabellones destacados incluyen la imponente 'Catedral de semillas' británica -con unas 60.000 varillas de acrílico que se mueven y capturan la luz-, el 'Cesto gigant'" de mimbre llevado por España y la pirámide invertida de color rojo de China.

Shanghai invirtió casi 60.000 millones de dólares en la infraestructura del evento, según la prensa local, una cifra mayor que la de los Juegos Olímpicos de Pekín de hace dos años. La ciudad sufrió una metamorfosis completa, gracias a la inauguración de nuevas líneas del metro y a la remodelación del mítico Bund, un paseo de dos kilómetros de largo a orillas del Huangpu.

Die Expo 2010 wurde in Shanghai spektakulär eröffnet. Die sechsmonatige Weltausstellung wurde mit Feuerwerk, Lasershows und vielen anderen Highlights eingeläutet. Die Eröffnungs-Show zur rekordverdächtigen Expo 2010 wurde von vielen Prominenten aus Politik und Unterhaltung verfolgt.

An dem zwischen Glanz und Kitsch schwankenden ersten Teil der Feier im größten Konzertsaal der Welt waren auch zahlreiche Stars beteiligt, darunter Hongkongs Actionheld Jackie Chan, der blinde italienische Tenor Andrea Bocelli und der chinesische Starpianist Lang Lang. Ein Moment der Stille trat beim Auftritt zweier tibetischer Kinder ein, die ihre Eltern während des schweren Erdbebens vor zwei Wochen in Westchina verloren hatten.

Nach mehr als einer Stunde folgte dann der Höhepunkt der Eröffnungsfeier, ein halbstündiges Farbenspektakel aus Feuerwerk, Wasserspielen, gigantischer LED-Leinwand und Lasershows. Tausende rotschimmernde Ballons bildeten auf dem Fluss einen Willkommensteppich für eine Boots-Parade mit den Fahnen der Teilnehmerstaaten. Der zweite Teil der Auftaktfeier erinnerte an die gigantische Eröffnung der Olympischen Spiele in Peking vor rund zwei Jahren.

China Pavilion: The Oriental Crown
The signature China pavilion for the Shanghai 2010 World Expo, set to start on May 1st, is designed in the shape of an oriental crown, showcasing the spirit of traditional Chinese culture. At 63 meters tall, it stands three times taller than any other pavilion. Painted the same red (Gugong Red, 故宫红 in Chinese) as the Forbidden City, the roof of the Oriental Crown is made of six layers in the duogong (斗拱 in Chinese) style (an ancient form of architecture used in 700-476 B.C.), as are the Summer Palace and the Forbidden City in Beijing. It is such a precise, sturdy technique to build a structure, no glue or fasteners were needed to hold the pieces together. There are 56 duogong brackets on the roof, symbolizing the 56 minority cultures of China. Below the main structure, a 45,000 square meter joint pavilion features local provinces, cities and regions.

Designed by He Jingtang, the director of the Architectural Academy of the South China Univeristy of Technology, the China Pavilion showcases a variety of sustainable and energy-efficient building practices ranging from passive solar design, eco-friendly landscaping to rainwater harvesting. The China Pavilion is one of the 5 permanent green buildings on the Expo site, and it will be converted into a museum of Chinese history and culture upon the conclusion of the expo in October.

2010年上海世博会中国馆：在“东方之冠”上看“九洲清晏”

“东方之冠、鼎盛中华，天下粮仓、富庶百姓”。2010年上海世博会中国馆分国家馆和地区馆，整体建筑外观采用上大下小的“斗拱”型设计，看似一个粮仓，又像一顶古代的礼冠，故被称为“东方之冠”。

作为标志性景观，中国馆大台阶共有76级踏步，宽度达到72米。这块面积近9000平方米、石材总数达4700块的大台阶竟然采用纯手工的方法打造而成。

中国馆中地区馆的屋顶花园取意于圆明园四十景之终景“九洲清晏”，以碧水环绕的九个岛屿象征中华之广袤疆土，寓意“九洲大地，河清海晏，天下升平、江山永固”。它用水系分隔出九个小洲，每一个小洲都有着别有深意的名字，也有代表中华大地上典型地貌的景观布置。游览新九洲清晏，有三个重点：一看地面、二看小品、三看四周。看地面，是因为每个洲的地面都各有特色；看小品，是因为各处都错落有致地安放了一些特殊的雕塑或景观小品，独具魅力；看四周，是因为新九洲清晏高出地面14米。站在这里，可以看到巍巍中国馆的中国红在一片绿树葱茏中更显亮丽，也能看到周围其他场馆的整体风采。一系列珍贵文物，包括《清明上河图》的真迹也将在这里得到呈现，千万不要错过。
