and so the early morning mist hung over the fields and town
as they walked along the silence hung ~ you could hear not a sound
only the whisper between them both if you listened you could hear
just what they were both planning ~ what would happen and the fear ....... !
when they reached the edge of town ~ there were others waiting there
they joined them and stood in silence ~ it seemed everyone was scared
what was that noise approaching ~ a shrill and frightening scream
everyone stood motionless ~ it all seemed like a dream ..................... !
it was no dream it was for real ~ and the screams were loud and clear
as everyone stood and listened ~ they came closer and closer to tears
save me please ~ I have done no wrong ~ she cried into the cool misty air
her fate was sealed ~ the deed was done ~ they both just stood and stared .............
she fell to the ground and did not move ~ it was quick and no one saw
who pulled the trigger that ended it all ~ but one thing was for sure
the sound echoed round and round ~ could be heard all over the town
and as she lay there dying ~ the blood flowed on her evening gown ...........!

I want a pizza mum and I really want it right now
it's raining cats and dogs but at least it is not snow
lets get the umbrella Mum that will keep us dry
I love eating pizza Mum ~ come on or I will cry ......................! :-)
we can eat it as we are going home what do you say !

she had always wanted to meet him there
with the magical air ~ of a misty affair
packed bags at the ready ~ she ran down the stairs
into the car ~ and off she sped ~ at last she had no cares !
but she ran out of petrol ~ half way there
people laughed ~ she was filled with despair !
but help was at hand as she soon found out
all she did was ~ stand and shout !
help me please I need a good push
help get me to my lover ~ I am in a rush
he may not wait ~ so what can I do .... ?
help find me a garage as I've not a clue !
how can I can I help you ~ she heard him say
she turned around ~ and his eyes were so grey
she went weak at the knees ~ as he was so tall
standing next to him ~ she felt quite small .................!
come get in my car and I'll take you there
where are you going ~please do not despair
what could she say ~ he was such a delight
decisions decisions ~ but it worked out alright .................... ;-)

I am sure they moved as I walked past
and quickening my pace I went quite fast
the mist was forming and getting quite thick
I was not sure but it seemed mystic
as I turned around they all stood still
the branches were straight ~ up until
I started moving and then it appeared
that they started moving ~ then I disappeared ....................................... !

in Tuscany there are fields so full
of yellow flowers that always pull
eyes to gaze on the beauty therein
and gentle breezes make flowers waft
their fragrance until all is but lost
replaced with green so fresh and new

it had been a long walk ... and had taken so long
as he walked along ...he was heard singing a song
when at last he arrived ... there was no one in sight
what was he to do ... sit and wait or take flight !
he knew we would follow ~ as always we did
quickening his pace ~ we would trip as we slid
in the mud and the mire ~ as we try to keep pace
he laughs ~ as he waits with a smile on his face !
his name is Andrzej ~ not sure if you knew
always he walks quickly in his walking shoes
alas he is quick as quick as can be
but we are all following him ~ its plain to see
he sits and reflects in the window right here
and he listens to chatter as we all come near
its misty and early ~ and we are all still asleep
order breakfast please Andrzej for when we all meet !

it was a long way to travel back home
over hills and countryside when all alone
and when at last the end was in sight
he sat down and pondered had he done right !
although far away he could hear her call
in his ears he would hear her for everymore
why have you left me here all forlorn
will I see you again ~ come before dawn
I'll take you back ~ you know that its true
because I love you ~ I'll always pursue
to the end of time ~ and then from beyond
be sure I will haunt you ~ for every second ............!

time had stood still or so it seems !
the clock kept ticking along with her dreams
with suitcases packed filled to the brim
she waited and waited ~ because she loved him
she waited so long ~ the clocks were repaired
as she checked the time ~ she had not been prepared
to wait for ever and a day ~ how her heart filled with dismay
should she wait longer ~ or call it a day !
footsteps were heard running down the stairs
she glanced and looked whilst saying her prayers
another night spent on this cold platform here ....
oh please please ~ hurry up and appear !
but it was not him that came running by
and you could hear her let out a sigh .....
why does he do this again and again
he knew it caused her so much pain
I will wait one more minute and that is all
and then I will have to give him a call
if he is not there what shall I do
I've no money left and I've not a clue !
the tears started rolling down her cheek
she now realised they would never meet
the same old story the same as before
in her heart she always would wait evermore !

into the snow and far away

she heard him leave as he tip toed away
he had left nothing ~ only dismay
how could he go without saying goodbye
with her head in the pillow she started to cry
the door closed and his footsteps she heard
walking to the road ... she thought how absurd
would he ever call her or want to see her again .............
right now all she could feel was pain
should she call after him and ask him to stay
would he turn around ~ what would he say
she could not move from the window inside
looking out she saw them ~ arms open wide
how could he do this ~ again and again
causing her heartache ~ her pleas in vain
she had tried before to say please don't go
it never worked ~ she just went with the flo
he would go away with nothing to say
having done this before come what may
she had to be patient and wait whilst he played
sadly she watched as his love he displayed
she cried out loud but with no one to hear
she watched them walk till they disappeared
into the snow and far away
sleep overcame her ~ and blocked out the days

~ the last morning ~
morning once more and the snow had not thawed
it was deep and untouched and then as she yawned
she could see now ~ how the icicles caught
the early dawn sun ~ she froze as she saught
to think over events and decide what to do
as she slowly got dressed and put on her shoes
an icy blast rushed through the room
as she opened the door and and went out with the broom
the snow was deep but what could she do
as the snow and cold made her turn blue
she shivered with fear as she looked around
but decided quickly to head for the town
on the way she passed not a soul
where was everyone ~ it had been too cold !
with the electricity off and no food to eat
most had died it seemed in their sleep
empty cars and the shops all closed
this was the moment when filled filled with despair
she fell to the ground ~ there was no one to care
