This is Emma. She asked for senior pictures, and also already had locations for where she wanted pictures. We set up a date for when the state fair would be here in OKC. Sept. 15th was our date which got rained out. A week later we finally met up at the fair. Inside the fair, it was a lot harder than I thought it would be to work a good background, with good natural light.

This photo I liked due to the shadowed ground behind her, as well as the backlight in her hair and body. There was a vendor shooting a bubble gun, so I jumped on the opportunity to ask him if he wouldnt mind shooting some of those bubbles my way ;) and whalah! a successful portrait.

I absolutely love reflections. I seem to find them all over and the scene in the reflection seems to be very different each time. I loved how the tree branches seemed to go in and out of the asphalt.

Awesome engagement session a few days ago. This couple got all dressed up for some underwater pictures. The sad thing is that we ended up running late and so the sun was already set and the light was fading quickly for the pool. Luckily we were able to grab a few water photos before it was too late!

Went paddle boarding with some of the kids in Florida yesterday. Took this pretty simple shot of some of the group paddling out into the open ocean.

I leave tomorrow to start the 23 hour drive to missouri where my next vacation awaits - Big Cedar and Table Rock Lake.

Maybe a Sand Horse?

I have heard from people that it looks like a camel, or a dragon, but I still think that a sea horse is most accurate.

I took several pictures of my friend throwing up sand into my fame, but this one caught my attention the most. No pixel sharpening on this image.

My cousin was visiting from out of state, and he always had wanted to try and do some of these "spark" pictures that he had seen from me. I told him that I was all up for it. We walked out from our house to the street and started getting creative!

This was a hard concept - two separate spins, one in each hand. I burnt myself pretty good, but succeeded!

Can you guess what this is?

This photograph was taken at the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute in the Quartz Mountains last week. I was there for a two week program and it was AMAZING! This photo was selected to tour all of the top art museums in Oklahoma for the next 18 months. Yay

Just finished up our 7 day cruise through Alaska! I now have experienced just how MASSIVE Alaska is. There are mountains EVERYWHERE. This image stood out to me because of the awesome light coming from the clouds.

I leave Fairbanks tonight at 10:30 tonight to catch the red eye home. It was an amazing trip, but I am excited to get home to some cheap food :)

Editing through some of Tera Woods wedding photographs when I stumbled upon this forgotten image. I absolutely cherish this. Those girls SO badly wanted to dance. They waited patiently while a fantasy was being made.

Processing some wedding images today and ran across this image. I couldn't help but post it! Laura, the bride definitely wasn't happy about this bee that kept following her (bouquet) all around, so she handed it over to her husband Josh. He handled the bee the manly way and scared it off.
