King Richard III

His remains have been found buried under a Leicester car park - after 500 years!
(Interestingly, this was confirmed by DNA - also a process discovered at Leicester University).
He will be re-buried close by in Leicester Cathedral.
(I went to King Richard III Intermediate school, so find his story very interesting).

The Royal Mail are painting post boxes gold in celebration of GB gold medal winners - in their home towns.
(None in Leicester yet - but we have hopes in the Paralympics)
