One of the strangest & most mysterious qualities of Polaroid is the way it plays with time. The last few images in my stream were all taken a few weeks ago, and yet they feel to me like images that have existed for a long time - almost like childhood memories. They seem to me to have that kind of texture - and I'm not quite sure why. Does anyone have any ideas about this question? Any thoughts would be gratefully received....

Lady Vervaine is experimenting. I've grown a little frustrated with my framing; it seems too precise, too staged. I want to shake my photographs up. So I'm doing some experiments.

One of these is shooting from the hip, which I learned about when looking at the brilliant work of Robert Frank. Following his example, I carried my camera, letting it dangle from my hand around hip-height, and just shot without framing, or even using the viewfinder at all.

This is one of the results. What do you think?
