I can't believe I spotted this tiny eel while snorkeling, at Molokini Crater, Maui, Hawaii. It was probably no wider than a finger.

This parrotfish was new to me --

It looks to me that this is a redlip parrotfish -- and if you click the link you can see the pretty blue color this fish will appear when it's mature!

This shot was looking straight at the back of Molokini Crater where the reef meets the edge of the water. Because of the waves, it's not quite so clear there... which prompted me to paint this up a little.

Edited in PSE with Topaz Adjust5, Simplify, and Clean2.

that's my husband with one of the big turtles. I wasn't going to post this since I cut them both off but it does put into perspective how large these turtles can be.
