Jack 'n' Jill

Well, Jill and Jack if you read from left to right.

Jill has been lovingly restored and is open to the public on certain days. Jack is privately owned and is certainly a little worse for wear.

These windmills are on top of the South Downs and yet they have high hedges and trees nearly all the way round - makes for getting any decent pictures very difficult!

On a really cold, windy and moonlit night.

The problem with windmills is they move so I really must make a point of visiting on a still night.

20 minute exposure.

The artefacts on the white boarding are as a result of compression. :-(

On a really cold, windy and moonlit night.

The problem with windmills is they move so I really must make a point of visiting on a still night.

15 minute exposure with a bit of local headtorch light to brighten the stone.

The artefacts on the white boarding are as a result of compression. :-(
