First shot of Spring trying out my new D7000. Its an awesome camera for the money. First impression is it matches my D300 in everything except weight. Taken in Ault Park this afternoon. I have also added this shot to the 1000 Cranes Group, as I think Spring is a perfect metaphor for what we all hope for Japan.

Joe Sumner, bass and vocals with the up and coming group, Fiction Plane. Currently on tour with his dad;s band: The Police, and riding a hit song, 'Two Sisters". Picture taken at the Seasongood Pavillion, Cincinnati, this evening. The band were very hot. They are opening for The Polce in Cleveland tomorrow (I think), so if you have $250 Police tickets, it is worth getting there early, and extracting some extra value!.

I am back in Cincinnati, and for once, have done my laundry before posting on Flickr! This is the first in a series of photos taken at the Harvest Festival hosted by the Heritage Village Museum, located in Sharon Woods, Cincinnati, Ohio. This was one of the harvest displays, taken inside one of the 'living museums', and then overlaid with textures from a couple of oil paintings to give it an 'old masters' feel. I'd encourage those of you in the Cincinnati area to support the Heritage Museum, it is a terrific historical and photographic resource, and is struggling in the current economic climate. www.heritagevillagecincinnati.org/.
