Marco and I went to a wedding this weekend and stayed in the most grand 16th century hotel. It was in Shropshire. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. The next morning we got given some of the wedding flowers which was lovely. I took this photo as we were checking out.
Afterwards we went to Blists Hill Victorian village before heading back to London, Marco had the idea of driving back avoiding the motorway, so we went through some funny places, like Daventry. :)

I took the other version (unedited one) down and am replacing it with this one.
This one does look edited and I don't mind, as I really think it suits the photo and Amanda!
The photo below this on the main page was taken on the same day, but the lighting was different so it's strange to compare them.
I still think this is too green/cool coloured though.
Perhaps it just works on it's own.

It's a little wonkyish but that's not because my camera wasn't straight, blame angles and being freezing at 8pm and just wanting to go home after a 10hour London Towerblock recce.
We (Carys and I) took photos and filmed and recorded a few estates, and my previous photo to this one was just across the road from Battersea Power Station, so this shot was I think the last one I took, and a bonus one at that.
This was a 30 second exposure and this shot makes me want to go back and do more! I have also noticed a squiggly mark in the top left in the sky, I have no idea what that is, but I have a feeling it's when my cursor got stuck and I must have clicked some photoshop smudge icon when it was open on my screen :(

It's taken me a while to like this photograph. Almost a year.
It's noisy and badly damaged through digital handling.
I have had my Pentax dslr for 3 days short of a year.. This is a birthday shot I suppose.
Probably amongst the first shots I took in my new found digital life.

I like it now. I'm going to get it printed and framed.

Double exp, you can see the roof of something in the first exposure at the bottom and the clouds being patchy on the bench.. I obviously aimed too high at the roof, but it gives a story, so I didn't crop it out!
