BEST SEEN LARGE!!!
This is a shot from my balcony. It is an HDR, so I could get the details in the brightest and darkest areas. I used the "vibrance" setting in Photoshop CS5 to enhance the color of this Cloudy Sunset.
I also used a second layer set to "multiply" with about a 25% transparency to give it greater depth.

Interesting that today I put up a sunset. . I had gone to facebook to wish a friend "happy Birthday", and found a bunch or RIP messages. . apparently he died on or around June 22nd.
We had shared a lot very profoundly in the period from 1978 to 1981. He came to my wedding in 1996. I had finally found him on facebook and discovered that he became a photographer. I wish him Godspeed. Here are a couple of links to his photography:

I didn't miss a single sunset during our 11-day trip to southern Utah. This sunset was one of the most dramatic. Taken on the Kolob canyon road, just west of Zion national Park, at sunset, of course.

Actually there is a way to get an HDR-like rendering from a single shot - Here's a great tutorial from ~Dez~
