Here the number plate on 155001 is clearly visible on the back of the turret. The models being delivered to Bofors, each model's serial number is in accordance with the first (real) Archer prototype: nr. 155000.

Profile of Archer nr. 155001. The 12 models on order for Bofors will be all be identical (due to fairly obvious reasons), but each model have their own serial number. This is the first unit in the initial batch of four, carrying the number 155001.

Photo conditions during this part of the year aren't the best this far north. Annoyingly this was the only shot of Battery 1 with their weapons deployed that came out ok. Ah well, better luck next time...

Indeed, I have once again taken up the noble sport of archery... well, sort of. Apparently the model I built for the Norwegian artillery battalion during the first half of 2010 has gotten a wee bit more attention than I was aware of. Earlier this year I was contacted by BAe Systems Bofors in Sweden regarding that very model - or more precisely if I could build some copies of that model for them as well. Now, the first four models of Bofors' order of 12 (!) are just about ready to be delivered.

So yeah, that's what I've been up to these last few months...

The proposed twin-engine Eurofighter Tempest.

Magnus and I had a small discussion earlier about whether my EF Tempest would look better as a twin-engine design or not. Having a free moment last evening, I decided to try out a twin-engine configuration on the F1, and so far I'm not hating it... (my initial concerns about it looking too bulky this way seemingly proven wrong)

Corvin Stichert showed the steering/suspension system he use on his SEP APC model a few days ago, which is nearly identical to what I've been using on my models for a long time as well. I thought I might add some additional info about the basic system, showing ways you can scale it to fit vehicles with different widths, using various combinations of mounts and liftarm connectors.

While I've used this system in my models for years now, ultimately Jacob Sysak (aka Memory) deserves a huge thanks for the original idea.

But nonetheless, I've been getting requests about my Leopard's turret glacis armour for a long time now. I finally thought I'd take a couple of shots of the inner workings of that very part, even though several people have started figuring out stuff like this on their own (which is great).

The Land Rover Wolf together with the two light vehicles of mine most of the design changes (compared to Chandler's version) derive from; the Volvo C404 Wolfhound AMPV (right) and JDI Fenrir LMV (left).

I've done some modifications to the C404/405s since last time too, by the way.

G-Wagen Suspension

Just a quick shot of the suspension system I use on the G-Wagen, as well as the C404/405. The half-pins are attached to a technic plate for added strength (stud in technic hole is usually a pretty sturdy connection).
