Yukiko and co traveled to the Petaluma Visitors Center today ^_^
and if you are wondering about the chicken heads on the benches, it's because of Petaluma's title as "Egg Basket To The World". er, here's a little explanation.

365/365 : last day of the year

Wow, it's already the end of my 365 project o_O"
I've tried doing the whole 365 thing before in past years, but this is the first year that I've actually completed it. I think having a subject to work with made it a lot easier than just posting whatever random photo I took that day. I mean, that's fun too, but I normally run out of steam after a couple of months.

So, what's next? Project 366! (since it's a leap year) Next years subject will be Yukiko. Piggies wont be in every photo any more, but I do like working them into my photos so I'll try to get them in there with Yukiko as much as I can ^_^

Also I plan on self publishing my Piggie 365 project. Anyone have any suggestions on what company I should go with? I'm thinking of going with Blurb since they have a free book layout program, but I would love you hear any suggestions or experiences from this or other self publishing companies.

81/365 : old petaluma train station

At the Old Petaluma Train Station.
I've taken a photo here before, but last time I forgot to bring my taller tripod so I could have Yukiko sit on the old ticket booth ledge, but I made sure to bring the right tripod this time for the twins ^_^

any way, currently we have no passenger trains that run through town, so the tain station was unused for a long time before being converted to the Petaluma Visitor Center and Petaluma Arts Center.
However, in the near future we are going to be getting a passenger train, SMART ^_^
