This is a very very old bridge which has been made into a walk bridge with benches to sit on and a few small picnic tables. A great setting! You can cross over and walk through the woods on either side. It is part of the Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon Society in the Joplin MO area.
This was taken from the left bank, the ones below from the right bank. Just a lovely bridge!

The snow is now dirty and mostly gone. I think this "guy" got in the way of the snow plow. I noticed this in town and just HAD to have a shot of it.

A little earlier would have given a little more fog. I am happy to see some of the trees showing some color. Another few days and it will really be pretty.

This is really a test shot. I don't always have my bigger camera and lenses with me, so I just bought a Nikon Coolpix L120 to just carry in my purse for those times when I "Wish I had a camera with me" moments.

I really do like this camera. This shot was shot on auto, and of course bright sun glow which I couldn't help. But I love the colros and clouds etc.

Great camera for what I wanted...if I didn't have the bigger camera. this would be great for anyone wanting great shots. my opinion. :)

We are ready for spring, but wanted to share this picture of a sunrise I caught while checking out the winter scenery. I passed by and then noticed the beautiful filtering light. Had to back up and take the shot. Glad no traffic was on the road :)

A bad storm last night took out my apple tree by the house, which was loaded with little apples :( This is the exact color of the sky after the storm. Just a jpeg image, slight sharpening. Eerie !

This was taken this morning, I noticed it sitting on a hill and the sun was just right. I turned around and parked - it was beautiful to see and the clouds were a bonus. We usually don't have many clouds in the summer unless rain is in the area...Hope so :) We need it!
