Photographed live in a tidepool (partially out of the water) at Honeymoon Island, Florida. This conch is fairly common on the beaches in this part of Florida.

Taxonomic info:
Strombus alatus; Family Strombidae. Closely related to Strombus pugilis, the West Indian Fighting Conch.

Sunset on the Atlantic coast of the island of Eleuthera, Bahamas. This beach is known as "Tippy's Beach" after the great beachside restaurant, Tippy's, located there. This is a mile or two from Governour's Harbour. Tippy's is considered one of the best restaurants on the island, and it certainly lived up to its reputation.

Bok Tower Gardens
Lake Wales, Florida

Pinewood Estate (previously named "El Retiro") is a restored Mediterranean Revival mansion that was built in the early 1930s as a winter residence by the Bethlehem Steel Vice president, C. Austin Buck. It is in the Mountain Lakes Estates Historic District which is adjacent to Bok Tower Gardens

This little bay serves as the port for the town of Oia, on the north end of the island of Santorini, in Greece. Also variously spelled as Ammoudi and Ammoudiou.
