The challenge came from <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/remcoterwal/">Remco ter Wal</a> on my last Crystal ball photo <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/tropical-blizzard/4930032656/">Facing the wind</a>.<br /> The challenge was: Use the Crystal ball as a magnifying glass, The Dutch make chips.<br /> I immediately thought of microchips, and what a microchips made of? Yes SILICON!!!!<br /> Silicon is the eighth most common element in the universe by mass, but very rarely occurs as the pure free element in nature. It is more widely distributed in dusts, sands, planetoids and planets.<br /> Silicon has many industrial uses.
