I'm fiddling with editing. Somehow, I'm not big on editing, but I feel like I always over edit. If you're reading this, give me constructive criticism (on this and the next two), and I'll hunt you down and give you a high five. Or whatever, you know.

I took star pictures last night! It was so clear, and I'm at my aunt’s house, which is sort of in a semi-remote location, so all the better. My dad got me the 50mm/1.8 a while ago, and told me to do this sort of thing eventually. There are about 1000 & a half times more stars visible in the photo than visible by eye.

The longest exposure my camera can do is 30 seconds. Lame. Need more seconds and better resolution overall. And the noisiness bothers me, but that is to be expected with this sort of thing.

Also, it was a little windier than desired. That’s why the larger tree is so blurred. The other, I guess, was more resistant to the wind, and so it looks like it’s just superimposed onto the stars, or something.

Stairwell at Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art. It's pretty visually pleasing, and there are fish at the bottom.
This sideways orientation reminded me of Alice in Wonderland...or Labyrinth.

I tried to be knowledgeable and announce the [universally recognizable] work of artist Frank Gehry.
Basically, everyone makes mistakes, and in a smart-fail, I said "Lou Gehrig" instead. No, it's not "close enough."

But anyway, this place is beautiful! Anyone would be blessed to attend any sort of concert or anything of the like at this venue.

I think it's really hilarious that people construct paths through forests like this. How many trees do you need to cut down to manufacture a walkway for people to use in order to look at the trees that were left over? And is the lumber used in the steps and rails the same that has been gathered from that forest? Or was it shipped in?

(I mean, if they need logs over there . . . and they need them over there . . .you’d think a phone call would save a whole lot of trouble . . .)

My point is, who would have known Milwaukee is so lovely?

This is obviously really out of focus and really awful, but it's SOOC, and the colors are sick. I'm obsessed with the colors...and that's about it.
