Seattle P-I’s signature neon globe atop its waterfront building in Seattle.

The words say, “It’s in the P-I”.

Another sign of the times, or in this case, the P.I.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer was initially founded in 1863 as the weekly Seattle Gazette and later published daily in broadsheet format until March 17, 2009, when it became an online-only newspaper.

This pretty much leaves the Seattle Times as the main Daily newspaper for Seattle and area.

Foggy Day Flickr Doodle

I took some shots from the Seattle Ferry as we pulled into the Puget Sound that was totally fogged in.

I've posted some other shots on this little fishing boat that just went full speed into the soup. Many fishing boats just stopped by the markers and buoys. But these guys motored off into the shipping lanes.

I felt like playing with this shot, to see if I could make anything out of it. Not sure if I did or not as after awhile my eyes get glazed over looking at them. :-)

The original is at the bottom and you can see just how foggy it was getting. They were not that far off the ferry at this point and the captain started to blow the horns soon after I took this.

On Golden Mill Pond

We had our Grandson staying with us and we took him to see firetrucks and then out to the hook to look for birds and enjoy the natural beauty we have here.

As I drove I looked at the Western Sky and saw all these brilliant colors. I pulled over and took these photos as the sky changed before us. It was over in 10 minutes. Sharing God's handiwork with loved ones was one of the best birthday gifts I've every received.

For our anniversary we drove to Seattle and went to the Space Needle for lunch.

We could see the approaching storm heading our way. We decided to go see our grandkids and then headed home.

We hit 60 mph winds on the way with tree branches all over the highway not to mention the rain and lightning. Many areas were dark as their power was out.

We were happy to get back in one piece!

Does this waterline make my Stern look big??

The Polar Endeavour in getting some prop work done. They weighted the bow down which raised it out of the water in the back.
