As soon as I saw the style of that game I went out and bought it - just beautiful. This is outside the Brisbane Museum and art gallery a wide open concrete space for people to hang around in.

Really like the architecture of the GOMA in Brisbane. So this work continues on from 'Symptoms II using the same type of broken lettering and compact style. The idea for this work was obviously inspired from the band Photek but also by modern aircraft design.

I wanted to do a work that had the same properties as the outside metal of a plane - clean, white and reflective . Originally I had a design for the shape for the "o" but changed it last minute to be an aircraft engine which I think works a lot better as the darkness of the fan blades seems to bring out the rest of the lettering.

' Symptoms - Latest work that follows on from Phoenix-01. Did the original design while waiting for a train.

I wasn't happy with the first composite work (photoshop crashed and lost the PSD) so this is the second attempt.

The photo is of the sculptures in Reddacliff Place, outside Brisbane Square by Donna Marcus ("steam"). I really these futuristic things stuck right in the middle of the city.

Fast composite using 'noise dae... This is just an idea rather than a final work.. would like to add a lot more paint splatters and better integration of the text.

Again, trying to get away from always doing dark designs. Had the idea that kids would throw paint at this thing.

In this graffiti design the level of sophistication that goes into military machines was the inspiration - I like the concept of layers and layers of integrated technology that serves only one purpose. The technology gets refined and refined until it is perfect.

The photo is looking up under a train station in Brisbane near the Roma Street parkland.

Another composite. Didn't really expect to use the 'Glitch render like this as it didn't have much depth to it. As soon as I saw this place (some factory at West End, Brisbane) I could see the graffiti design climbing up the parking area to the top level over the fence. I also like the way it interacts with the 'no parking' sign.

The splatter style is something that really interests me. It's a challenge to try to control chaotic splatters from a graffiti design perspective.

So this is what I had in my mind when I created this work originally. A massive city-scape with this robotic design walking down the street.

I would hardly call this graffiti anymore as the lettering only really works from a few angles. However I like the concept of creating graffiti that isn't stuck to a wall.
