Lights and darks here in the sky make me to put a reverse grad filter on my wishlist...

Magic morning light over the Golf of Cafano/Sicily.
As the sun appeared behind the mountain range it's beams plunged the scenery into a fantastic golden light and flashed the first glimpses of spring, some neat pinky flowers.
Yes, spring is yet around the corner…
Best view in "Large".

Have had a great week of shooting on Sicily/Italy, maybe my best ever. Although the photo journey seemed to be star-crossed right from the start… Imagine sitting in the train to the airport for about a minute and realizing that you have forgotten to pack the tripod!! I have a wonderful Gitzo tripod with ballhead wich is very stable and you can turn it in every direction you want… Fortunately I found an Electronic Discount at the Zurich Airport and got a very simple tripod for less than 40 Swiss Francs. It did it's job, although it was a bit weak and shaky and the 5d mk 2 almost to heavy for it. But I don't complain :)

Due to concerns of pic stealings and violations of copyright on Flickr I load up LowRes versions from now on, although they will lack of sharpness and clarity.

PP RAW in ACR: Adjustments slight WB (-500K), clarity and color to get green colour cast out of the sky (oops, how come?)
ACR in PS: Dodge & Burn + Saturation mask + Topaz denoise + Sharpness
