I'm starting to make more sales on Getty so I'm trying to upload more general camping themed images. This is from last summer's canoe trip in the Temagami/Chiniguchi area, at Kettle Falls on the Sturgeon River. The water levels were very low this year. Some very rough portages into this spot--Tina said that one of them was "like an approach climb". Our tent is an MSR "Mutha Hubba", quite a good summer tent, room enough for two plus a dog.

Paddling solo at night in moving water is one of those things that I do (like going out on ice) but don't recommend.
